STATES CHRONICLE – Most women resort to family planning mainly because they want to have a healthy and happy family, but scientists think there are many other reasons why they should do so. According to a recent British study, there are 3 reasons why summer pregnancies are easier than winter pregnancies.
Family planning rarely goes beyond yearly intervals, but a new study conducted by Dr. John Perry from the University of Cambridge thinks months can play a significant role, too, when trying to get pregnant. The researcher has recently proven that children, who are born during the summer months grow up to be healthier than the rest of the children.
In addition, these kids will grow up to be taller and, consequently, healthier adults. These findings are based on the recent investigation that Dr. Perry has made involving 450,000 participants. He has, thus, find out that adults who are taller are less likely to develop Type 1 diabetes and other heart-related diseases.
The current research has also looked at the health condition of women, who were born during the summer month. It appears that these participants get into their puberty ages a lot later than most women; thus, avoiding many related health issues.
Given this large number of benefits, researchers looked deeper at the data to find the factors that lead to improved health conditions. Their investigation has revealed that pregnant women consume many more fresh vegetables and fruits; therefore, mothers and babies are healthier during this time of the year.
Sunlight has a strong influence on women, doctors have all agreed. The vitamin D that is released in the body helps set higher levels of calcium both for the mother and her fetus. Consequently, mothers experience easier and healthier pregnancies, whereas fetuses have a better development.
Being able to sit in the sun and enjoy the blooming nature has a benefic effect on the mother. Her optimism is passed on to the kid, whose health condition is improved, doctors have stated. In addition, proteins in food are better processed by the child – another reason why summer pregnancies are better than winter pregnancies.
