Apple Sends Invitation About iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C’s Arrival on September 10th Event

On Tuesday, Apple sent out invitations to the media to attend a function on September 10th. This has been taken to be an indication that Apple is now going to unveil the iPhone 5S and 5C. The 5S is said to be the smartest and best iPhone that the company has ever produced and the 5C is a cheaper version of the 5S. There have been a lot of rumors going on about these iPhones and this may be the chance to get it all right.

iPhone 5C

One begs to wonder if this was planned in advance, or whether it is a reaction to the announcement that Microsoft was buying out Nokia. Apple did not even let Microsoft bask in the limelight for long, since they immediately sent out the invites once again taking back the limelight. The invite went to CNET and it said that the event would brighten up everybody’s day. The event, other than announce the new iPhone, may also talk about the new software that comes with the device, iOS7.

Other news agencies are saying that Apple will announce the iPhone 5C as a device that they will send to the emerging markets, where capital expenditure ion such devices is low. Samsung and other Android based Smatphones have penetrated the emerging markets making them take a huge chunk out of Apple’s sales figures. This has led to Samsung dominating the market and left Apple struggling to keep up. However, with the iPhone 5C, Samsung may now have a contender to reckon with.

However, people do not expect that there will be any mention of the iPad. Analysts say that the iPads may be announced in November, following a change in their release pattern last year. November is also ideal since it is just before the festive season when many people tend to spend a lot on gifts and personal items.

People are also wondering if Apple will announce, or give a hint, about the Apple iWatch Smartwatch. Samsung will show off its Galaxy Gear Smartwatch on Wednesday, and Apple might be pushed to say something about their competing iteration. Getting back to the iPhone, the presence of colorful balloons indicates that the new watches will have various colors. iPhone has gone out of its usual trend and is now offering people two different iPhones instead of the traditional single iPhone.

Given that the new handsets will be running iOS7l, they are supposed to give better performance figures and this is perhaps why many people are awaiting them eagerly. A memory leap of up to 128Gb is astounding. The higher performance of the A7 chip and also the fact that they are running a leaner, and more aesthetic OS, means that the new devices will be super fast, irrespective of the applications that are being used.

The company is also expected to give some information about the OS that they have developed for their Macintosh computers. The OS is called OS X Mavericks, and is expected to have some nice tidbits in it.
