Porn-Addicted Indian Man Gets Hand Chopped by Enraged Father

March 15, 2018 By Troy Rubenson Leave a Comment

Porn-addicted man with no hand

Indian porn-addicted man gets hand chopped by strict father.

A porn-addicted 19-year-old man from India lost his right hand after his father used a butcher’s knife to chop it off. The man was later taken into custody by the authorities and charged with the murder attempt.

Porn-Addicted Man Told Police that He Struggled with Father Over New Phone

19-year-old Mohammad Khalid Qureshi told the authorities that ever since his 47-year-old father bought him a brand-new smartphone they had arguments over his alleged porn addition.

Mohammad Qayyam Qureshi declared that his son would spend hours on end watching the adult video and other of movies on his smartphone and, in the process, totally ignoring his house chores and cable company job.

Khalid declared that his first encounter with his murderous father was last week when the man tried to snatch his phone. Qayyam added that he caught his porn-addicted son watching movies on his phone and that’s why he tried to take it away from him.

The man managed to get away from his father and left the house. He returned later that evening when everyone was asleep, father including.

A couple of uneventful days have passed until Qayyam would catch his porn-addicted son watching those movies on his phone. Khalid told the authorities that they’ve quarreled, and, in a fit of rage, his father took a butcher’s knife from the kitchen and severed his right hand.

Conclusion

The 19-year-old was taken to the emergency room by some of his relatives. A close examination revealed that most of the hand was just too damaged to be reattached.

Qayyam surrendered the authorities the following day and confessed to chopping off his son’s hand. He is now behind bars pending the outcome of his trial. For his deed, the Indian man has been charged with premeditated murder.

Viral Video: Boy Pees on Elevator Controls – Gets Stuck… and Famous

February 27, 2018 By Deborah Cobing Leave a Comment

naughty boy peeing in elevator

The boy just before he pees in the elevator – scroll down for video!

STATES CHRONICLE – A boy was publicly shamed on Chinese social media site Weibo after peeing in an elevator (similar to Twitter). The video was posted February 23rd by the Ministry of Public Security with the hopes of reinforcing positive behavior in children by showing a negative example.

The post was accompanied by a caption encouraging people to be stricter when it comes to parental control. The caption warned that people should take better care to educate their children.

Instant Viral Sensation

Internet fame was probably not the first thought in his mind. When this boy (who looks about 10) entered a building’s elevator in southwest Chongqing. Upon finding himself inside (see video below), the boy proceeded to unzip his pants and urinate on the floor. However, it seemed clear from the start that his target was the elevator panel as he started to move towards it.

With the skill of a painter, the boy proceeded to cover the whole button panel in his pee. Satisfied that he did a good job, he stepped back and zipped back his pants. As he sat waiting for the elevator to stop, he realized the small chamber began to jolt.

After a while it stopped at a floor, but the doors only opened for a brief moment before the elevator stopped again. The boy began to jump up and down. To no avail. The buttons began to flash furiously. The lights went out. He was now left in complete darkness.

It’s very likely that the elevator short-circuited and, when left without power, stopped. Of the 12 million views on Weibo, many users said the boy probably takes after his parents. Others suggested the parents pay for the repairs.

The Height of the Debate

However, the parents themselves question the allegation that their son was the serial peer. A reporter quoted him saying:

He says that his son cannot yet urinate that high, he doesn’t believe it, and his son won’t admit it, says he didn’t do it.

Whether the family pays for the repairs or not, we hope the kid has learned his lesson. We’re sure that his brief moment of fame is enough to stop the naughty boy in the future.

Children Smoking Encouraged in a Portuguese Village

January 9, 2018 By Deborah Cobing Leave a Comment

children smoking in a vintage and discolored image

Children smoking is accepted once a year in a village in Portugal, for a celebration.

STATES CHRONICLE – Signs and posts that recommend people to quit smoking are on display almost everywhere these days. At least one health campaign to stop smoking is permanently ongoing in most countries.

With these regulations, the rate of smokers is seemingly decreasing every year. Despite this fact, in a small Portuguese village, children smoking is a tradition that has been encouraged and kept for centuries.

People Outraged to See Children Smoking

During the celebration of the Epiphany in the Vale de Salgueiro, Portugal, parents encourage their children to smoke. Even kids as young as 5 year old can do so during this celebration.

These festivities start on Friday and end the next day. The Epiphany is a Christmas festival in which people dance around bonfires, play music, and share snacks and wines.

Outsiders frown upon one of its traditions, that of children smoking. Locals from the village mentioned that this tradition has around for many generations. Despite this, none of them knows for sure what it symbolizes or stands for. Although the legal age for buying tobacco is 18 in Portugal, authorities don’t intervene in this case.

Parents are not prevented from letting their children smoke during the celebration. They mentioned that this is the only time a year they let their kids do this thing.

People who participate in this celebration also stated that they are just accustomed to children smoking during the Epiphany. Parents seemingly don’t see something wrong with this.

Most of them are not concerned with its becoming a habit because they explained that their children are not really smoking. They also mentioned that this only happens once a year so they don’t believe it can be harmful for their health.

Although 90% of smokers first started smoking when they were underage, the incidence of smoking in this village is not higher when compared to other parts of Portugal. This village is one of several who still keep most of the old traditions and it is known as the forgotten one.

Pope Francis Prayed for the End of War During Visit of the American Military Cemetery

November 5, 2017 By James Faulkner Leave a Comment

pope francis

Pope Francis followed a rather new tradition by traveling to Nettuno, Italy on November 2. His goal was to pay respects to the 7,860 American soldiers buried on foreign ground. The American military cemetery is part of the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery. All these soldiers died for the liberation of southern Italy and Rome during World War II.

Pope Francis Visited the American Military Cemetery and Prayed for the End of Wars

During his visit, Pope Francis stated that he senses how the world slowly moves towards one of the biggest wars in history. Therefore, this day meant for the pontiff an opportunity to remember the terrors of battles and guide people and authorities towards peaceful lands.

“Please Lord, stop. No more wars. No more of these useless massacres.”

On the other hand, Pope Francis did not elaborate on what exactly makes an international conflict imminent. However, his speech can only underline the enmity between North Korea and the United States leaders. As of recently, these tensions culminated with warnings of nuclear bombs. At the same time, there are other sources of conflicts throughout the world that led to human suffering and losses of lives.

Pope’s speech was part of an annual commemoration of Roman Catholic’s dead that takes place on November 2. As per a modern tradition, the head of the Roman Catholic Church visited the American military cemetery in Nettuno. He placed around a dozen of white roses on the graves of American soldiers.

Vatican Will Host an International Conference on Nuclear War Topic in November

During his pilgrimage, the Pope stopped at the Ardeatine Caves. This is where Nazi soldiers gathered 335 Italian political prisoners, Catholics, Jews, and other persons to shot them from behind. This was their way to vindicate an attack on the previous day that killed 33 of their soldiers in March 1944.

The Pope will host a two-day event starting on November 10 at the Vatican. Numerous invitations were extended to Nobel peace laureates, top U.N. and NATO authorities, and international ambassadors. The goal of this conference is to find solutions to nuclear war threats.

October 26, 2017 By Georgia Dawson Leave a Comment

thai mournersSTATES CHRONICLE – King Bhumibol Adulyadej was the ninth monarch of Thailand with the longest period of leadership. Austria Voted for the Youngest Leader in the World, Giving in to Far-Right Party

October 16, 2017 By Sebastian Mc’Mannen Leave a Comment

sebastian kurz

STATES CHRONICLE – Sebastian Kurz won on Sunday the elections for the next chancellor of Austria. He is a member of the conservative Austrian People’s Party. As the new most influential political figure in the nation, Kurz aged 31 is the youngest leader in the world superseding Kim Jong Un (33) in North Korea and Leo Varadkar (38) in Ireland.

Today’s Youngest Leader in the World Won by Rebranding a Far-Right Party

On Sunday, Austria voted in favor of Sebastian Kurz with a 31% of the vote. The young politician earned for himself the nickname of “Wunderwuzzi.” The appellative references a person who can walk on water.

His success was interpreted as an effect of growing immigration. His work as the head of the center-right People’s Party (OVP) changed the way the public view this political stance. Kurz emphasized a stern position towards immigration. Giving the troubling times regarding global stability, Kurz managed to strike a chord in Australians which brought him his victory.

Other changes contributed to the upheaval of OVP amid an era that focuses on the power of the internet to erase borders and intensify social democracy. Kurz rebranded his party as The New People’s Party and replaced the black color scheme with a modern turquoise.

During his electoral campaign, Kurz was a promotor of extremist ideas. Some of these include extra border controls, cutting down on benefits for newcomers, and reducing the cap on refugees.

Kurz’s Victory Reinforced the Influence the Far-Right Wing Earned throughout Europe

Through this outcome, Austria marks an entirely new point of view towards immigration. Only two years ago, the European country was seen as one of the most hospitable nations for refugees. However, it turns out that the population paid a high price for this title.

Austrians started fearing the consequences of hosting tens of thousands of people coming from regions of war. Therefore, the youngest leader’s rhetoric on radical measures found them in a moment of vulnerability. The victory of Kurz was added to the influence the far-right wing gains across Europe.

However, this political side hasn’t obtained full control yet. France hosted an epic battle between the left and right wings during its latest presidential election. The moderate and tolerant party won through Emmanuel Macron and strengthened the modern world’s predilection for liberal views.

The Victory of Saudi Women in the Auto Market Unlocks New Economic Benefit

October 5, 2017 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

saudi women

STATES CHRONICLE – Saudi Arabia has recently recorded a historic moment. Women received permission to break one religious ban and become drivers. The decision is part of the kingdom’s reform agenda. This victory of Saudi women might be just the starting point of a new political era.

Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman intends to guide his country toward an independent economy that can free itself from the domination of the energy sector. His ongoing Vision 2030 program regards this change as a crucial economic benefit that can lend a Western fabric to Muslim-majority countries.

The New Decree Is Likely to Allow Saudi Women to Drive by Next Summer

Once behind the wheels, women will represent a driving force for the local economy. They will enjoy the necessary mobility to support a higher rate of labor participation. As a consequence, the employment market will quickly escalate.

At the moment, women’s presence makes up for only 20.1% of the workplace in Saudi Arabia. Studies showed that female students are encompassing male’s performance within the Saudi educational environment. Therefore, the Saudi women constitute a valuable human capital. However, the kingdom hasn’t unlocked this great potential yet.

Riyadh’s recent decree that allows women to become drivers will come into effect by next summer. Becoming active in the labor market will make women a new economic benefit for the national income.

Females will become a stronger group of consumers which is a welcome encouragement to local businesses. Gaining access to a wider control of their own schedule can also constitute a major reason to start their own business.

Saudi Arabia Has a Long List of Religious, Political, Social Hurdles to Overcome Before It Can Fully Instate Gender Equality

One thing is for sure. Saudi women are currently enjoying great support thanks to Saudi Arabia’s new drive for economic diversification. On the other hand, their cultural, religious, social, and historical background cannot change overnight.

The fair sex will still be subjected to extensive interdictions. Some of these limits that impair their potential as social and economic agents are restrictions regarding traveling, financial access, unequal property, and lack of inheritance rights.

Gender equality is not a yet a value that Muslim-majority countries praise at the moment. However, this liberal view can influence economics in the right direction. Nonetheless, the kingdom is still miles away from allowing women enjoy same rights as men do.

Vatican Children’s Hospital Offered Its Support for Charlie Gard

July 6, 2017 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

Life support

Charlie Gard cannot be moved to Vatican for treatment for legal reasons

STATES CHRONICLE – A lot of efforts concentrated around Charlie Gard, the 11-month-old terminally ill baby from UK who the court decided should be taken off life support. After his parents were refused to transfer the baby for treatment in the US, the children’s hospital of Vatican offered to receive the boy.

Charlie cannot breathe without life support

Charlie is suffering from a rare mitochondrial disease, which gradually affects the baby’s brain and makes his muscles weaker. This genetic condition leaves him no longer able to move, so he cannot breathe off life support.

A team of medical experts from the UK, together with many others who expressed their opinion regarding the condition of the boy, think there’s not much to do in his case, and no other treatment would help him survive. Therefore, the UK court decided the baby should be taken off life support.

The baby is not legally allowed to be moved to another country for treatment

Also, they didn’t allow the parents to move their baby to another country for treatment. They wanted to take Charlie to the US, where he would undergo a therapy trial. However, the court finds this experimental method ineffective. This gave rise to an intense legal battle, which got many officials involved.

Now, Mariella Enoc, president of Bambino Gesu Hospital in Vatican, decided to help the baby and offered him a place at their hospital for treatment. Therefore, she asked for permission from Great Ormond Street Hospital, where the baby is currently held, if he could be moved. This came after both the Pope and the US President, Donald Trump, intervened for Charlie.

However, the hospital still doesn’t allow the baby to be moved because legal reasons are involved. The parents refuse to give up, so they have been given more time before Charlie would be taken off life support. They are allowed to spend the rest of the time with their baby, and not leave him alone on his last days.

Women are not happy about Italy’s Fertility Day

Women are not happy about Italy’s Fertility Day

STATES CHRONICLE – Italian Health  Ministry, Beatrice Lorenzin, thought it would be a good idea to create a Fertility Day. This way she hoped couples would be encouraged to make babies when they are younger.  Women do not seem happy about this campaign and they started to show their feelings about it on social networks.

This Fertility Day, which will be held on September 22, seems to be a bizarre event for most people.  It will take place in the biggest cities of Italy, such as Rome, Bologna or Padua. There will be also tents for teenagers who want to learn more about sexual health and they should use condoms until they are ready to reproduce.

The ads made for this campaign were also strange for some people. The most popular one is with a woman who is holding an hourglass, which is supposed to be her biological clock, with the words: “Beauty has no age, but fertility does”. There were other ads there and most of them made women not happy about this campaign. They think that family planning is not a governmental matter and that they will make a child when they are prepared to. The Italian health minister, who had twins at the age of 42, seems to have another opinion.

Even though this Fertility Day was not a successful one, other countries with low-birth convinced people to get pregnant. Denmark has a similar event called “Do it or Denmark”, where pregnant women would get prizes and they had a lot of benefits. According to the news, the campaign worked because it was a small spike in births.

Most women said that it would be better if the Italian authorities tried to find ways to balance motherhood and work.  There are a lot of women who are afraid of getting pregnant because they think they will not be able to give their baby all that he/she needs. The officials should focus on how to raise the income for younger adults and they might see more women with babies.

There are a lot of factors which we need to pay attention to before having a baby. Are we able to provide everything a child needs? How are the authorities going to help us? Most women get pregnant at an older age when they feel they are able to take care of their child than having babies when they are younger.
