The decision has been taken after taking into account law enforcement reports. Federal officials claim that no supplementary evidence was discovered in recent investigations. The case is still based on the evidence brought in last year.
As it may seem obvious, Michael Brown’s family is waiting for the official decision from the Justice Department. They have not taken into consideration any rumors or speculation from anonymous sources.

Last November, Officer Wilson has been found innocent by the grand jury from St. Louis County. He even admitted that he felt extremely afraid during his conflict with the teenager. He stated that the boy hit him in the face and reached his gun.
On the other hand, some witnesses firmly say that the officer is lying. Brown was last seen alive with his hands up standing in front of Wilson.
In order to win a federal prosecution, evidence will be needed to show that Wilson deprived the teenager from his civil rights. In other words, it should be proven that the officer in question abused his power more than it is legally allowed to act against the boy.
This shooting has brought back memories from the ’99 shooting in New York where an African immigrant had been shot. No federal charges were ever made.
