The study was made by using a data of 1200 people who are from Italy. Researchers discovered that those people with a genetic variant drink fewer cups than those without the variation. There are people who can have the caffeine in their blood, for a longer time. Those do not need to drink so much, even though they might enjoy it.
Researchers wanted to be sure that their study is true so they did it in Netherlands too. There was a data of 1731 people and the results were similar. They want to do more research because there might be also differences between countries. However, they managed to make a connection between coffee and a gene that nobody thought it was possible. So if you enjoy drinking it often, blame it on your genes. You might be tired, but your body is asking for coffee for other reasons.
Is it coffee good or bad for our health? First of all, you should know that it is one of the most popular drinks in the whole world. It can help us lose weight because it contains substances that make the body reduce the craving for sugar and fast-food. It is also helping us to stay focus and can have benefits on our mental health. Some studies say that it reduces the risk of cancer and the risk of heart attack. It might have good effects regarding the Alzheimer’s and depression. If you are not feeling happy, drink a cup of coffee and things will seem better.
Of course, it has its disadvantages. If you drink too much coffee, your life could be in danger. Moreover, if you are pregnant, do not drink more than one cup per day. Of course, it can cause problems with your sleep.
Coffee can be good for us if we know how much we should drink every day. Pay attention to the number of cups you are having and you might have many advantages from it.
