Some may say that Google Chromebook laptop is not exactly the best laptop available on the market right now. It never was and it will never be: it doesn’t have too much storage and it doesn’t have too many functionalities. But if you are a student and cannot afford a state-of-the-art laptop, you can always go for the Google Chromebook, especially since it comes at a great price and it’s so lightweight.
The Black Friday sales are the best opportunity to buy good products at a lower price. Google Chromebook laptops are at a great price without even any Black Friday discount. The best thing about them is that they cost a small fraction of what you would pay for a Mac or a Windows laptop.
Considering that most Apple laptops, like the MacBook Air costs more than $1000 and a Windows laptop costs more than $500, the Google Chromebooks is a cheaper alternative to both of them. With Black Friday deals there are other laptops worth checking out, like the Asus 13.3 inch Chromebook, which costs only $199.99, if you buy it from Groupon. This will save you 20% since the normal price is $250. The laptop features an Intel Celeron processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of drive.
Another good thing about Google Chromebook laptops is that you can use them to work offline, if you don’t always have access to an Internet connection. These little laptops were designed especially for students to carry them to school, so they cannot really stuff too many things on them, except for school-related stuff, since the laptops have so small a memory storage.
There are ways to extend the storage limitation, and that is by using a cloud storage system. Earlier this week, while preparing for the much-anticipated Black Friday, Google announced that it will offer for free 1 TB of cloud storage to everyone who buys Chromebook laptops. The offer will last until the end of the year, so we’re guessing it’s a pretty good deal. Google said that the storage will be free of charge for two years.
