Study shows the best and worst states to have a baby

STATES CHRONICLE – Having a baby implies a lot of changes and sometimes moving into a bigger house in one of them. Well, if you have in mind to do so, you should also check the new study made by WalletHub. They analyzed the best and worst states in which you can raise your child.  Let’s find out more about what they have discovered.

WalletHub researchers used data from the government as they ranked and compared each state. The study was based on hospital delivery costs, health insurance premiums, parental leave policies or nationally   child-care centers. And these were just a few from a long list of factors that leads to these results. Top five best states to have a baby are Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, Minnesota and New Hampshire. On the other hand, there are those states you should run away from if you want to have a child:  Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, New  York and Georgia.  Washington is not doing better as it is one of the worst states for child care due to its high average annual infant-care costs.

How do we find the perfect place to raise our child? Well, first of all, we should look for places with low crime rates, low offender population. Moreover, look for the states with the best schools in the nation as well as strong library reading. It is very important for you kid to read if you want him to improve his vocabulary. The community should provide special places for the kids to have fun in their free time while making a high priority on making the needs of their families.

Another good idea for you would be to raise your child in a rural area. Global warming and climate changes are affecting us more than ever. Pollution is a major threat and we can see smog in every city. If you want your child to have a healthy lifestyle, you should try this option. There are plenty of places where he/she could play while exploring the nature. What do you think about this idea?

However, the place where you raise your kid is less important the way you learn him how to behave and live. Keep your kid away from junk-food and involve him in sports activities. Teach him/her to make the best of every situation. Maybe this way we will have only good places to raise our future children.
