This way this fast food chain is going to be the healthiest choice when it comes to this type of food.

STATES CHRONICLE- Everybody told you to stop eating fast food because it is not good for you. Well, this is not the case when it comes to Taco Bell. It is not as good as eating a salad, for sure, but it is better than eating from other fast food restaurants.

Taco Bell might be the only food chain that is almost healthy. This fast-food restaurant has made a lot of changes in the last years. They have reduced the levels of sodium by 15% in the last 8 years. They also eliminated artificial flavors and they also created a low-calorie menu named “Fresco”.

Taco Bell is also planning on cutting XL sodas in order to cut the additional 10% of sodium. They want to remove part of the antibiotics that it is used to treat the chicken this year. This way this fast food chain is going to be the healthiest choice when it comes to this type of food.

The menu from Taco Bell also includes high protein and vegetarian menu options. Nutritionists mentioned that the biggest problem when it comes to eating at restaurants is the sodium levels.

“They are trying to decrease the amount of sodium which is great because usually when you do eat out, the menu options are higher in sodium,” mentioned Angie Murad, a dietician-nutritionist.

Other problems when it comes to eating out are the high levels of carbs and fat. All of these restaurants tend to use products that are high in fat and carbs and they don’t use vegetables and fruits. This is because these products make us want to eat more because carbs are addictive.

Many specialists mentioned that Taco Bell is not making these changes because they care about the health of their customers. They believe that this restaurant made these changes in order to sell more and have more profit. Not matter the reason these are great changes that can help people respect their healthy diet even though they eat at a fast-food chain.

Taco Bell did not respond to this news yet but they will probably give an official statement. All of the restaurants that serve this type of food need to make some changes in order for their customers to lead a healthy life.
