Taiwan based HTC is coming up with a new smartphone as per leaks obtained from sources. This leak gives some insight into a gadget that appears to be in line with HTC’s Butterfly series of mobile device. As per the leak the device would be labeled Butterfly S and the OS seems to be Android Jelly Bean. It is interesting to note that there is the hint of the Sense 5 application running on the device over the OS. There is also the Blinkfeed application which would provide the gadget its RSS/ social networking arm, a stylish one at that by looks. Other features or working of the Sense application would be same as other models of the Butterfly series from HTC. The icons, the fonts, settings selection and other applications would run and feel the same way as before. The Butterfly S model is also expected to sport the Boomsound speaker system which has two amplifiers to it.
There is no acknowledgment as yet from HTC to any effect or aspect of this leak. It is but natural for the company to keep the wraps on their products before the time for launch in the retail market approaches close by. There is the IFA event to be held in Germany which could be the platform for HTC to announce their products in the pipeline.
It is expected that the company would announce their HTC Butterfly S at this event. There are also hopes that the company would announce the HTC One Mini during this event. The HTC One Mini is a miniaturized version of the One which currently is their flagship device.
Gadgets geeks are therefore keenly looking towards the IFA event at Germany to get to know more about their favored mobile gadgets in the coming.
