Microsoft is now cutting down the prices in terms of processing and analyzing the data of the customers. This is indeed an open challenge to what Amazon has been doing for a long time now. This challenge has been placed in the growing business of the profitable cloud computing. The world’s biggest company in terms of the software has made this statement that is going to call out Amazon in terms of the prices for the data computing. Amazon has been known to have provide a number of competitive online data computing services, but what are the actions they are going to take know with Microsoft making an open challenge to them? This decision would indeed involve the cutting down of the prices to a level of about 21 to 33 %. In the technology arena, this move can be termed to be the biggest ever which Microsoft has so confidently made. But what would be the outcome of this move in the tech world, still remains a compelling question shouting to be answered? The company now hopes that its Windows Azure Business would be able to take the cookie away from the business of Amazon. Amazon is the pioneer in terms of the services for renting out their technology resources for the purpose of data processing, computing power as well as storage. The entire process is known by the name of cloud computing.

Steven Martin, another executive of the company, said in this regard that for those who thought that the Windows Azure was more expensive in comparison, it is time that these concerns should be put to rest. The reason for which Windows Azure had been launched was to offer some competition to Amazon and to serve as a backbone for the Cloud Computing Business. This news would be the best for those businesses who do not prefer or do not have the revenue to buy their own technology set up. The company claims to have nearly 200,000 customers in the Windows Azure Arena, but it is not so profitable or powerful in terms of breaking out the revenue for the company. Keeping in view the success of Amazon and to some extent, the success of Microsoft a number of tech and other related businesses are now making use of the cloud computing mechanisms.
