Microsoft’s HoloLens Is to Be Launched This Fall

hololensMicrosoft’s HoloLens is to be launched this fall. Today Microsoft offered the world great news by bringing to light a prototype hologram. Ranging from a variety of possible way to use a hologram, Microsoft’s project can literally bring a whole new dimension to space exploration, video calls and even video games.
Microsoft has been competing for inventiveness against Apple and Google for quite some time now. Even though the corporation has long gone lost this battle, the time has come to win back its title. Microsoft Corp has been working on HoloLens while its competitors have been working on Glass project, sustained by Google and Oculus supported by Facebook Inc.
The HoloLens will be used without any wires wondering around the house. However, the device is expected to have a steep price in the following years until it reaches a more affordable level.
The outstanding news is that this HoloLens will no longer remain in the project faze. Microsoft Corp. has announced its official launching this fall. It seems to appear in the same period as the Window 10’s release. Its developers are quite excited about the prospect.
On the other hand, some say that the company will not be able to produce large mass quantities in so little time. Many people have shown a great deal of interest regarding owning such a device. The demand seems to be higher than the producer’s possibility to build.
Nevertheless, Microsoft has never actually owned the crown jewel at earth-shattering discoveries. Inventing and innovative technologies have not been its strongest point. For example, Kinect motion-sensing game was once a great innovation. However, that only lasted for a couple of months and then it quickly went down.
The company tested its product in front of the audience. Nonetheless, it did not allow the press to take any pictures. The reporters claimed to have seen a jerry-igged wire representation with cameras placed all over the head. The conference was held in Seattle, where the company has its headquarters.
The event’s highlight was a realistic panorama of Mars. Developers have taken images and information from NASA’s Curiosity Rover. NASA and Microsoft have already been taking into consideration working together. They plan on developing software that allows researchers to explore Mars’ surface and conduct any types of experiments.
However, HoloLens’ developers hope to attract the population worldwide in using such a gear. Other analysts are curious about how the project will change life styles and what applications are in order to use with such a device.
