We don’t know what the future brings in terms of battery and storage for the new iPhone 6, although there are some good rumors going around about how the new iPhone 6 could have solar charging abilities. That would be completely amazing, but until that happens we’ve got a new device to help us with our iPhone 5/5S, the Mophie Space Pack.

The Mophie Space Pack is a three-in-one device that is meant to improve your iPhone 5/5S. It works as a sturdy case, an extra battery and also additional storage space. It really does sound like it’s the perfect device, but is it?

We’ve taken a look at it and to be honest, it is. It has a capacity of 1,700 mAh, thus doubling your iPhone’s battery life. Depending on what you desire, you can choose between the 16 GB ($150) or the 32 GB ($180) model. You can manage the device by downloading the Mophie Space Pack app on iTunes (it’s free).

Everything that is stored in the Mophie Space Pack is very easy to organize and keep track of with the help of the app. You don’t really need to do any work yourself, the app does everything for you.

To recap, we love the Mophie Space Pack because it’s very easy to use, it has a great value and it seems sturdy enough to last a lifetime (not that we need it to). What we don’t really love about it, but we can live with it, is that it’s a bit bulky and it really makes you feel like you’re carrying a small brick.

It’s really brilliant, to be honest, and we’re truly wondering why anyone hasn’t thought of this earlier. If you’re bugged by your iPhone’s battery life and storage, then we strongly suggest you get the Mophie Space Pack, it will deliver.
