Firefox 34
Mozilla has just announced the release of the Firefox 34 new web browser, marking the beginning of a partnership between Mozilla and Yahoo, as far as search engines go.
Starting with Firefox 34, the Yahoo search engine will be the default search engine inside the browser, available for users in the Unites States. If you want to, you can switch to Yahoo search engine later and still continue using Google search.

The newly announced partnership between Mozilla and Yahoo replaces the previous Google deal which had the Google search as default within Mozilla web browsers. The Mozilla-Google partnership lasted for more than 10 years.
If you already use the Firefox web browser, you will be automatically updated to the Firefox 34 or you can download the new version by going to the official Firefox page.

Firefox 34 Features

Apart from including the Yahoo search engine by default, the new Firefox 34 comes with some pretty cool new features. First of all, you get the new “one-click” search and a new search bar, if you use a desktop computer.
With the one-click feature the user has the suggestions is a new, more organized way. There are new buttons so users can specify which of the sites they want to run query.

Although Firefox has the Yahoo search engine by default, it can still be changed if you don’t want it. You can select from a list of search engines, add the one you want and hit go. The new changes target the users who use desktop computers, access the internet using Firefox web browser and live in the United States.
Mozilla has new goodies for users outside the US as well. Firefox 34 introduces a new feature called Firefox Hello, which is a real-time communication tool, which can be used for text and video chat.

The cool thing about it is that it comes with the Firefox Hello already installed in the browser so you don’t have to download and install any additional plug ins and software. You don’t even have to create an account, you can simply send a link to the one you want to chat and when your friend receives the link and clicks on it, you start chatting.
