NASA Pops Up the Blue Screen on ‘UFO’ Sighting in Live Broadcast

Bright object above EarthAn UFO expert claims that NASA cut the Aug. 1 live feed on the International Space Station (ISS) the moment a strange object came into view.

The vlogger and UFO sighting aficionado known by the name of Streetcap1 on YouTube says that a hundred-mile-long object is currently in the Earth’s orbit, and the space agency tries to cover it up.
Streetcap1 posted a small clip on his channel showing the incident with footage taken from NASA’s camera on the orbital laboratory. The camera was set up on the ISS under the “high-definition Earth viewing experiment.”

In the video, the YouTube user wonders whether the mystery appearance is an alien floating city which may have traveled to us through an inter-dimensional portal. After showing a “MASSIVE golden UFO” in Earth’s orbit, the clip zooms in on NASA’s alleged interruption of the live stream.

Streetcap1 believes that the disruption may be either caused by a short power loss on the ISS or by NASA itself trying to switch cameras. The YouTube user noted that he started recording the live broadcast the very first second he saw the eerie floating structure.

“To my surprise they cut transmission […],”

the UFO chaser said.

He added that the object seemed “huge” as it looked “hundreds of miles long.”

You can watch the video here:

Some commenters were quick to identify the object as clearly “alien related.” One user was curious to learn when one such structure would appear above a city and what reaction people would have then. Others also started speculating over the nature of the object.

However, many YouTube viewers don’t believe that it may have alien origins. The most popular theory is that the “object” is just a reflection caused by sunlight. Scott Brando, a British UFO expert who is trying to debunk UFO sightings, said he believes the mystery object is a “reflection of sunlight through clouds.”

Brando explained that a similar “cloud city” was reported by thousands of residents of China’s Guangdong province last year. He explained that the appearance was caused by the so-called Fata Morgana effect, on optical illusion triggered by differences in the hot and cold air layers that make distant objects seem to be afloat.
