Starting today, Orlando has new Nintendo theme parks and resorts, according to a recent communication released by the company on Thursday.
Nintendo, the famous producer of games, such as Mario Kart and Animal Crossing, has disclosed on early Thursday morning their plan to contribute to Orlando’s city infrastructure.
According to the press release, the game producer will seal a deal with Universal Parks and Resorts to create a unique game-inspired resort in the city.
The general look of the park will be inspired by the well-known games of Nintendo. The company plans to recreate the exact scenarios that players have been accustomed to while taking part in their favorite online competitions.
Nintendo expects the future Orlando adventure resort to have a huge success, as all children and adults, why not, will be willing to test the parks’ attractions.
“The immersive experiences will include major attractions at Universal’s theme parks and will feature Nintendo’s most famous characters and games,” according to the company’s press release.
Game producers have taken the decision to contribute to the resort as the games are still very popular among Nintendo fans. Many speculations are now being made in relation to the actual look of the resort.
Some game lovers have ventured into imagining all kind of scenarios related to the architecture of Orlando’s park.
Some have suggested that the park will feature the landscape of the famous Mario Kart game.
Visitors may, therefore, be able to drive through steep and curved roads as they do in the game. The characters that have worked to make the Japanese company famous are expected to welcome guests and take pictures with them.
Nintendo hasn’t confirmed or denied any of the previously mentioned suppositions. The company remains, nevertheless, reserved when it comes to disclosing further information about the upcoming project. Spokesmen have only added that more details about the new Orlando’s park and resort will be released in the near future.
The future looks quite bright for the Japanese company, as recent reports show that Nintendo is gaining profit again. According to the official charts released on Thursday, the company has earned a net profit of $350 million during the fiscal year that ended in March.
Nintendo had previously estimated that their yearly income will not be bigger than $251 million, but their recent efforts to gain momentum on the smartphone games market has clearly paid off.
Future gains are expected to be registered soon as the Kyoto-based enterprise disclosed on Wednesday that the sequel of King Kong “Skull Ride: Reign of Kong” will open in the summer of 2016 during Islands of Adventure.
