Potty training and hot sauce.

Oklahoma family investigated after father poured hot sauce in toddler’s pants during his potty training.

All parents know that potty training a child might be one of the most challenging parts of having a newborn. While others try out more conventional means to teach their kids that they don’t need diapers anymore, we bring you the story of a Choctaw father who allegedly used hot sauce in order to potty train his kid.

Choctaw Parent Takes Potty Training to the Next Level

According to the Choctaw police department, on Wednesday, several officers accompanied by agents from the Oklahoma Human Services went to a home in order to perform a routine welfare check of an infant who was recently the subject of a slightly disturbing movie shared on Facebook and Snapchat.

After viewing the video posted by the Choctaw couple in a closed Facebook group, Shana Honeycutt of Edmond Oklahoma shared the clip, declaring that this is definitely child abuse and everyone, including the authorities, should be made aware of its existence.

The short clip depicts a toddler and a man who appears to explain his the basic of using the potty chair. At one point, the man gets mad at his son and, as punished he pours hot sauce inside his pants and squirts some more on his face.

The clip has several versions on the Internet, including a long one which shows the infant laughing alongside his parents. When confronted with their deed, the Choctaw couple declared that the child was never in any danger and that the man just pretended to pour hot sauce in the child’s pants.

Moreover, according to the child’s mother, she was there filming the whole deal and claims that the child was not distressed, but laughing his heart out.

According to the authorities, the claims have been investigated, and no evidence of child abuse was found in the couple’s house.
