What information to we collect?
When using the Services and Website, you submit the following information:
- Registration information: this is obtained when registering for newsletters or subscribing to The States Chronicle. It requires users to create an account and provide what is known as PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (including but not limited to name, surname, username, password, email address, gender, age, zip code, address or birthday). Personally identifiable information can be used to directly identify you.
- NON PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION: upon your use of the website, we may collect other information from you that can not be used to directly identify you. This information includes (but is not limited to) ip address, browser type, browser information, the device you are using to access the services, internet service provider type, or personal computer operating system)
- Social Media Information: in connection to our Services, you may be asked to connect your social media account or login via such an account and as such, we may store information such as user ID, user name as well as any content or information that the social media service provider has shared with us (including but not limited to: profile picture, email address, friends lists, comments, likes, profile information).
