
Galaxy users are happier with their phones than iPhone users

Of course, it’s an indispensable device which makes your life easier, but a report put together by LikeFolio discovered that owners of a particular smartphone might be happier than others. More precisely, they discovered that Samsung Galaxy users were a bit more content with their phones than iPhone users.
LikeFolio used social research to see what smartphone brands make customers happy
LikeFolio is a company that explores what trends are popular among consumers by using all kinds of social means. By judging from the opinions on a series of companies that people share on social media, LikeFolio can tell what they prefer. This way, they can put together a top containing all the companies.
For many years, there has been quite a feud between Galaxy and iPhone, with big groups of fans on both sides. However, LikeFolio thought there must be only one which makes people happier, so it decided to use social research and explore the matter.
Samsung Galaxy beat iPhone in the ‘competition’
The company searched for tweets which expressed the users’ satisfaction or dissatisfaction with their smartphones. Whenever they found someone saying how happy they were with their Galaxy or iPhone, they took the tweet as evidence. The rants came on the list as well, so the company must have had quite a numerous database.
The results came in favor of Samsung Galaxy. It seems that more users took to Twitter to say how happy they were with their Galaxy smartphones, while the percentage of content iPhone users was smaller. Samsung wasn’t always on top, as the huge Note 7 fiasco brought a storm of complaints. Even so, the overall experience of the users seemed to remain good.
