Whether the Sony Xperia Z will be seen donning T-Mobile colors was a topic of many a hot debate among tech analysts. Now with that seemingly solved thanks to the efforts of the inquisitive guys at gforgames, who have hit upon a piece of evidence as inconclusive as the presence of many of the Xperia Z documents at the carrier’s support pages, the only other missing piece of the jigsaw is when the Sony flagship will eventually be launched by T-Mobile. Fortunately, we seem to have an answer to that as well for which we have to extend our thanks to TMONews.
According to a leaked roadmap that the TMOGuys have hit upon, the Xperia Z will be launched by the carrier on July 17th. T-Mobile was earlier expected to officially announce the launch date of the Xperia Z on the 13th of June. That obviously did not happen and instead, it’s just a videa meant to tease our senses that was launched. However, there still is no surety the carrier will indeed launch the Sony smartphone on the stipulated date though we do have some pointers here at least.
Another interesting thing that we will be eager to know is how much the Xperia Z will cost when it is released. Needless to say, that is anybody’s guess right now. As for the device itself, the Xperia Z has already made a name for itself for its water and dust proofing credentials. That apart, the device also boasts of a 5 inch full HD display. It is powered by a 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm chip and is aided by a Adreno graphics card to take care of graphics files. The smartphone packs in a 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB internal memory, the latter being expandable to up to 64 GB via microSD cards.
