iOS 7 Update Showing On Your iPhone and iPad, Find Out What You Need To Do

iOS 7 has been launched and the update might be available on your iPhone or iPad. The new update may show up as a small notification. However, if you are unaware of the fact that Apple has made the new operating system update available, you may not know what to do when the update is available.

What is iOS7?
iOS7 is the latest operating system version from Apple for mobile devices like iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. iOS7 comes with couple of new features and has a revamped appeal.  The previous version of iOS was the sixth version called the iOS6. Once you install and reboot to new iOS7, you will get to see new icons and features. However, you need to be aware of the fact that once you upgrade to iOS7, you cannot revert back to iOS6.

The iOS7 was first announced during the WWDC event that was held on June 10, 2013. This is how Apple talks about the new iOS7 ‘biggest change to iOS since the introduction of the iPhone’. So what’s the significant change apple is talking about? It is the birth of an entirely new user interface.

iOS7 Features
iOS7 comes with a host of new features. Here are some of them:

AirDrop
It is Wi-Fi ad-hoc service that Apple has introduced for the first time on iOS. By using this feature, users are able to share content with other devices running on iOS7 through Wi-Fi connectivity. It supports devices like iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPod Touch fifth gen and iPad fourth gen and iPad Mini.

App Store
The new improved App Store offers better search options like age. ‘Near Me’ feature in the App Store lets user to find out apps that are famous in their region. In the previous version of App Store, users had to manually carry out app updates. However, the new iOS7 is able to perform app updates automatically.

Camera
Camera app has been enhanced and it comes with four photo shooting modes namely video, photo, panoramic photo, square photo. It also comes with another new camera feature which is live image filter previewing.

Control Center
The Control Center is quite similar to that of Notification Center. To access the Control Center, users need to scroll up from the bottom of the screen. Control Center lets user to access settings like airplane mode, brightness, media controls, AirDrop, AirPlay and it also lets user to access other apps like flashlight, calculator, camera, and compass.

iOS in the Car
It is a new feature Apple has made for iDevices to work with built-in in-car systems and give access various kinds of features such as Siri: eyes-free and hands-free, satellite navigation, telephony, music playing and iMessage.

iTunes Radio
iTunes Radio is a media streaming service that allows user to create customized radio stations by choosing an artist or song. It also allows users to buy tracks from iTunes Store. If you do not like any song, you can skip the tracks.

Live Wallpapers
The iOS7 comes preloaded with seven live wallpapers. Each of these wallpapers come with bubble designs and is available in different colors. If the device on which the iOS7 is installed features accelerometer and gyroscope, the bubbles will move here and other on the screen.

Siri
Apple’s voice assistant app has also got revamped appeal now. The developers have also included new voices male and female. The app is able to understand voice recognition for system settings than before. It also works well with apps like Twitter, Wikipedia, Bing and Photos.
