BlackBerry A10, New BlackBerry 10 OS Phone to Arrive Soon – Leaked Photo Inside

July 12, 2013 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

BlackBerry A10 which is codenamed as BlackBerry Aristo is the next flagship device from the company. It is going to succeed the BlackBerry Z10 and will come with an upgraded version of the BlackBerry 10 operating system.

The BlackBerry A10 is going to be powered with BlackBerry 10 OS with version 10.2.0.552. The device is going to feature a 5inch Super AMOLED display that will support 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered with a dual-core CPU and dedicated GPU. It will also come with 2GB RAM.

What’s unique about the forthcoming BlackBerry A10 is that the manufacturers will be focusing on gaming this time. In fact, BlackBerry is calling the A10 as the most powerful and capable BlackBerry till now. One may feel why BlackBerry is using dual-core CPU instead of quad-core CPU in its latest offering. The reason behind it is that by BlackBerry has battery life issues and the BB10 at present can support dual-core CPU with optimized results.

The design of the BlackBerry A10 is less angular and somewhat looks like the Galaxy S4. The device is expected to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S4 and Apple iPhone 5. Like its predecessor, the A10 will not feature physical QWERTY keyboard. The rear of the phone is going to somewhat like what you see on the BlackBerry Q10. The corners of the phone are rounded.

BlackBerry has expressed that they wish to cater to consumers with varying income levels. In the near future, the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q10 will be sold as mid range phones and by the fifth quarter the price of these phones may reduce even more. Rumors have it Sprint Nextel which released the BlackBerry Z10 will also sell the BlackBerry A10 first in the month of November.

Along with the leaked image of the BlackBerry A10, news about the all new BlackBerry 9720 surfaced yesterday. The device is poised to be up successor to the BlackBerry Q10. The look of the BlackBerry 9720 is similar to that of the good old BlackBerry 9700. The BlackBerry 9720 will run on BlackBerry OS 7. This means BlackBerry does not want to ignore the older BlackBerry OS 7. Also, there are still faithful fans for older QWERTY type devices.

We feel BlackBerry is doing a great job by bringing back the older BlackBerry OS 7. The BlackBerry will feature the good old QWERTY with a display resolution 480 x 360 pixels. The OS version will be OS 7.1. We are not sure when BlackBerry 9720 will be launched.

As of now, there is no official confirmation on the BlackBerry A10 specs. Some analysts feel that the A10 will feature an 8MP camera. The display resolution will be 1024 x 768 pixels. We have to wait until we hear official news from BlackBerry on the specs. Whether it will be real good device for high-end gaming, we are not sure. BlackBerry will have to build up developer relations in order to show unveil gaming capabilities of the anticipated BlackBerry A10.

At the beginning of 2013, BlackBerry had announced they have planned to release six new smartphones this year. The BlackBerry A10 will slot itself as the last BB10 phones for this year
