Newborn Becomes Popular With Two Lower Front Teeth

January 8, 2015 By Janet Vasquez Leave a Comment

Newborn Becomes Popular With Two Lower Front Teeth It is known that children today develop much faster than earlier generations, but when a baby is born with teeth it’s seen as one in million wonder. In fact it happens once every few thousands births. One week old and already a headline superstar, Alyssa Bella Bailey has caught media attention for being born with two lower front teeth.

The littles girl was born Branson, Missouri and has charmed everyone with her baby smile. The surgeons and medical caretakers who delivered the baby her at Mercy Hospital Springfield on Dec. 28 were completely taken by surprise.

Alyssa’s mother, Jaklina Bailey, declared for CBS affiliate KOLR-TV that from the very first moment when the little girl was born she stunned everyone. Relatives started a showy talk in the delivery hall.  But according to Bailey even her specialist was pretty much as stunned the rest of the people. She noted that her doctor confessed it was the second time when she had such a case in her twenty-five years medical career.  The special child brought in the delivery room a lot of other medical staff, doctor and nurses, all curious about the rare case.

Events like this are called natal teeth and are very rare. As indicated by Medline Plus, part of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, natal teeth happen once in every 2,000 to 3,000 births. Sometimes natal teeth are connected with medicinal conditions like development hormone inadequacies or congenital issues,  but most frequently, infants like Alyssa Bella are in a perfect state of health.

The mother was told by physicians that the natal teeth will continue develop normally along with the others. However, they also warn the parents to routinely check is the teeth are still in place as the child might choke on them if they happen to fall.

Medline Plus notes that natal teeth can occasionally hurt the baby’s tongue or might hurt the mother’s nipples while breast-feeding. The mother was asked by a lot of people if she is experiencing pain but the Bailey chose to give her daughter the breast milk using a bottle.

While numerous natal teeth are taken out due to their wobbly root structure, Bailey says the astounding smile is not going anywhere, until it’ is the right time for the teeth to drop naturally. The mother is extremely proud of her daughter for being born healthy and beautiful and is not worried about the natal teeth.
