Recent reports tell us that the tech behemoth Samsung is planning to release two new Samsung tablets sporting the incredible AMOLED display this July.
The news managed to turn the tech world into a one big pool of reviewers, as it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S models are better and more impressive than the iPad Air and the iPad Mini taken altogether.
The new Samsung tablets will arrive in 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch sizes and will cost around $399 and $499, respectively. While Samsung is considered the sharpest thorn in Apple’s side, it is well – known the fact that the company doesn’t joke when it comes to delivering competing products.
And so far, according to the tech journalists who managed to get some of these devices before the official release, agree that the two tablets are indeed spectacular in both looks and performance.
Given the fact that one of the best and most important features sported by the two new Samsung tablets consists in its high resolution, crystal clear display, we will start with the good news that might interest all the ones who love to watch movies and videos on their tablets and who love to stay connected to all mass – media forms:
the Korean manufacturer took the time to acknowledge its partnerships with corporations that are helping to provide a stellar experience for Galaxy Tab S users. Netflix, for example, will stream its movies and TV shows in 1080p for new tablet users, and Galaxy Tab S customers will receive a three-month unlimited membership to Marvel Comics. This doesn’t count the Washington Post, 6-month Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg Businessweek subscriptions, or the Conde Nast subscriptions to Vogue, GQ, and others. If you’re a fan of cloud storage, congratulations: you can now get 50GB of Box storage for 6 months, 50GB of Dropbox storage for 2 years, 3 months of 1TB of cloud storage from Bitcasa, and so on.
Want to talk about the specs? Well, we are all used to Samsungs’s flagship products, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise the fact that the manufacturer invested in both hi-tech specs and aesthetics of the two tablets. They are slim and slick, very light, very easy to use, sporting two color options, the dimpled plastic texture on the back (the legacy of the Galaxy S5), the same fingerprint recognition which is the signature mark of the S5, powerful batteries versions and the microSD card which can go up to 128GB of memory storage.
The month of July is not far from here, so we are all very excited to see with our own eyes the larger version of the Galaxy S5 delivered to the world. Not that the tablets game is being changed once more by Samsung, it will be a matter of months to receive news from Apple.
