The confidence of the people in terms of the small business had lost its grounds at the end of March. The economic activity and dynamics seemed to have lost momentum since the end of the first quarter, which is surely not a good sign for the small businesses all over the United States. The most important thing to consider here is the fact that the small businesses come to function in some form of mutual collaboration with all of the large businesses. In other words, the financial success of the large businesses play a determining role in the lives of all those who are linked to the small business world. Now here, the National Federation of Independent Businesses said that there index for optimism had fallen down the last month, which is surely not a sign that can be termed as a good one. The index fallen for about 1.3 points, thus bringing it to a total of about 89.5. The overall results and outlooks of the survey seemed to have going down, as only 2 of the indexes had been improving.
This survey was carried in the form of a heel for the last week employment dynamics as well as the manufacturing data, both of which had their own story to tell. Moreover, the employers preferred to add the lowest number of jobs in comparison the last 9 months, which is another issue the US citizens need to worry about. In terms of the past 3 months, the factory activity has also expanded in a pretty slow manner. Overall, the first quarter had a pretty confusing nature, as at times it seemed that something new and unexpected is about to happen, but in the end an overall economic despair is what that was left behind by the first quarter for the year 2013. The survey also revealed that for the next 6 months, the conditions are not going to get any better than they are now. At the same time, the outlooks for the labor and sales markets have also dimmed for the last month, which is another alarm for the small businesses.
