2016 will surely be a fantastic year for all Ford lovers around the world and especially for the Americans. The new 2016 Ford Focus RS is here, galloping with 320 horsepower and driving you all the way to a special kind of Wonderland.
Of course, this version is different than an usual Focus ST, even if this one isn’t a hot rod yet. 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the original sounds quite brilliant too. But the additional 2.3 liter turbo four inspired by the Mustang EcoBoost, together with the 320 pound-feet of torque and all that horsepower are a delight and surely causes an adrenaline rush.
Another difference between the old and the new one is that the first Focus ST comes only in a three doors version, whereas the new RS has five doors, which brings more logic to the Focus line of cars, that never had any other models with three doors.
For the enchantment of passionate drivers, the gearbox is completely manual, and the gear actually the possibility to be chosen. The number of speeds is such a compliment: six. As for the first look of the car, a “liquid blue” electrifies all its motor features.
19 inch wheels stand their ground strong and determined. The best quality is evidently Michelin, and the Pilot Super Sport tires take anyone’s breath away, and maybe their gravitation too, because they always feel like flying. There are also the optional Super Sport Cup 2s, that are connected to a suspension. That certain suspension has dampers that are electronically adjustable, so it gives the driver the feeling that it he can imagine it, he can have it.
As as pricing is concerned, specialists believe that it will go around £30,000, placing the new 2016 model of Ford in the firing line of the VW Golf R and also the BMW M135i.
The official debut of The Ford Focus RS has been proposed for live streaming in the 3rd of February at 7.30 AM, EST/4:30 a.m. PST.
Another good news from Ford this is that The Ford Mustang s being shipped to Europe for the first time, whereas until now America was the only market for Mustangs all over the world.
