Here comes Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. That is pretty exciting while the announcement too comes in the most interesting manner. All of it stated with the official webpage dedicated to the LG Optimus L7 II Dual which mentions the smartphone runs on the yet to be announced version of Android. However, a typo can’t be ruled out either. In fact, it is the latter possibility that seems to be most probable but then, the opposite can’t be ruled out either.
The Optimus L7 II is a mid-range smartphone that LG had launched during the MCW event earlier in the year. The Optimus L7 II Dual happens to be dual sim version of the same. However, what lends weight to the device actually running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is the fact that the particular Android version has also been mentioned in the detailed specification page for the smartphone. Its ‘Jellybean 4.3 Jellybean’ that has been used to describe the phone’s operating system. A typing mistake at two different place does seem a bit improbable. The same for the single sim enabled Optimus L7 II is mention as just Jellybean.
As for the particular Android version, Google is expected to launch Android 4.3 sometime in June itself (some believe it could be June 10) or by July latest. Google though skipped even mentioning it at its I/O Conference held last month though the rumored next Android version has showed up at quite a few sites including Google’s own product support page itself.
However, we still need to have some more light shone on it to clear the confusion.
