Apple announced the release of their most anticipated OS to date, the iOS 8, so iPhone and iPad lovers rejoice. The new operating system from Apple is an upgraded version of the previous OS 7, and it comes with plenty of yummy new features that look very promising.
The new iOS 8 will let apps display information in the Today screen, useful info like weather reports and sport scores. The new OS will let you answer your phone calls right from you Mac computer, install a third-party keyboard on the iPhone. You can also use the new iOS 8 to ask Siri what song is playing on the radio. It lets you share what you bought from the iTunes store with anyone you want.
The new update will be available at 1 pm and it will be compatible with iPhone 4S, 5, 5C and 5S. Also, if you are an iPad owner (except for those who own the first generation model) you are eligible to get the new iOS 8. Unfortunately, only the latest version of iPod, the iPod Touch gets the new update.
If you want to update your Apple devices to the latest iOS 8, here’s what you need to do: first, plug in your iPhone or iPad, then go to Settings>General>Software Update. Click on the “Download and Install” button. After it downloads the software, click on the Install button. That’s it.
