For the last couple of months all the tech websites have been speculating and rumoring about the Apple iWatch. The day has come and the new smartwatch from the tech giant is finally revealed today, the 10th of September. The highly anticipated iWatch is the perfect combination of health and fitness monitoring and it also has mobile computer features like maps. The Apple Watch, as Apple officially called it, is actually a miniature computer you can carry around your wrist. This is actually Apple’s first wearable smart device and we’re certain it will be a serious rival for the market’s leaders: Samsung, Sony and Pebble.
The new Apple iWatch comes with Siri, which means that the smartwatch can be controlled with voice commands. For example, if you want to know what movies to see on a specific night you just ask the watch and it will load the movies and the nearby theaters where they are being shown. Apple said that they will soon release a tool kit for software developers who want to build apps for the iWatch. Apple also stated that big companies like BMW, Pinterest and W hotels have already made special apps for the new smartwatch.
With the Glances feature you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen and see all the information you choose to see on your screen. Stuff like calendar, weather forecast or location are right at your “wrist”. You can also control the music from your computer or your iPhone with the Apple iWatch. The same thing goes for the photos from your Mac or iPhone, they will also show on your watch.
