Do you want a free cut? You just have to donate blood

STATES CHRONICLE – The American Red Cross is trying to get more people as blood donors. There are so many patients who need blood and the supplies are not enough. That is why they made the team with Sports Clips Haircuts to offer for every person who wants to donate blood a free haircut. The campaign is called “Savings Lives Never Looked So Good”.

If you want to donate blood, you will receive a coupon as appreciation for your action.  Donna M. Morrisey director at Red Cross said it is not the first time this thing happens. Their goal is to ensure blood is available for patients across the country. The campaign will be available from September 1 to 30 and the coupon will be received on e-mail after the donation. You can use it until November, so there is enough time for those who donated and want a free cut.

Blood donation is so important for patients with chronic diseases. There are so many reasons why we should donate. Your blood can save a life. It costs you nothing. You just have to go there, donate and in a few days the blood in your system will be the same. Moreover, people who donate have benefits such as coupons or free days from work.

When you donate blood, you save a person and make their friends and relatives happy too. The Red Cross have been asking for all the blood types. You can schedule an appointment by using free Blood Donor App.  All you have to do is present the blood donor card and two papers that proof your identity.

If you want to donate blood, you should know that are some rules. You are not able to donate if you used injected drugs, had hepatitis or contagious diseases. Moreover, you should weight at least 110 pounds and be 17 years or older. If you have tattoos, you can donate as long they were made at least one year ago. These are the most important rules someone has to follow if they want to donate.

Blood donation is the easiest way to help people. You be a hero for someone who has a chronic disease or just had an accident. Millions of people are alive due to blood donation and there are more who need it because the supplies are not enough for all the patients.
