HTC Desire 300 and HTC Desire 601 Release Date Features and Cost

HTC which resurrected to success after the release of HTC One is now planning to sell two new devices. HTC has already revealed the HTC 300 which is an entry-level smartphone. HTC also unveiled the HTC 601, a mid-range smartphone. Both the phones were unveiled before the IFA event that was held in Berlin.

The HTC 300 is targeted towards users who wish browse on the internet on a budget. The handset comes with a 4.3inch display screen. It receives horsepower from dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU. HTC is also offering the BlinkFeed service which is an exclusive service from HTC that enables HTC users to customize the homescreen to view social media updates and personalized content.

The 4.3inch display of HTC 300 will offer a display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It will come with 512MB RAM. The internal storage of the device is 4GB. However, out of the 4GB, only 1.4GB is available for use for the users.  The external memory slot of the handset can detect up to 64GB of microSD. It features a 5MP camera at the rear with a VGA camera placed at the front. A good thing about the HTC 300 is that it will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS preloaded on it. Other features include Bluetooth 4.0 supporrt and 1650 mAh battery.

 

HTC Desire 601 borrows couple of features from the famous HTC One. It comes equipped with the HTC Zoe camera technology that will allow users to snap twenty photos a small video clip of three seconds simultaneously. HTC is offering 5MP camera along with LED flash on HTC 601. The handset has got a 4.5inch qHD display screen. It will feature a display resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.

HTC Desire 601 will be powered with 1.4GHz Snapdragon 4 CPU coupled with 1GB RAM.  The internal storage space on the device is of 8GB and users can add up to 64GB of microSD card. The handset will be powered with a powerful 6100mAh battery and it will also support LTE connectivity. The HTC Desire 601 will also come with the popular BoomSound feature. Also, it wil be housed with a new feature called BoomBass. HTC announceed that BoomBass is a Bluetooth subwoofer that comes with its very own amplifier

HTC has not revealed the price of both the phones yet. HTC Desire 300 and HTC Desire 601 release date is set for October.
