Firefox by Mozilla is in the middle of a campaign run in order to get back on the right track, as Mozilla Firefox has lost advantage to its rivals in the most recent period of time. By singing Yahoo! to make them their new web search provider by default, ending a long relation with the Mountain View, CA based tech giant Google Inc. on that level and by recently releasing the Suggested Tiles mild and user oriented kind of advertising, Mozilla Firefox certainly goes through some struggles in order to become again relevant on the tech market. The most recent info in connection to the this situation says that Mozilla looks for beta testers so they will help finishing the work for the new version of Firefox, the Firefox for iOS.

The beta version of Firefox for iOS has been released by Mozilla just a while ago. However, the app has not yet made it to the Apple App Store, because the creators of the iOS version of Firefox still need to get some things done so that the application will be a success. In order to do so, Mozilla has announced that they need a hand from individuals who want to put the unfinished version of Firefox for iOS to a test.

According to the tech analysts in connection to this matter, it looks like Mozilla has already started to send surveys to people who they think would be appropriate for this kind of work. Within those surveys, potential beta testers are asked about their version of iOS. The new Firefox for iOS only requires that the mobile device by Apple should be run by an iOS 8.

“This will be a beta test, meaning that the app might have some bugs and break at times – which is why we need your testing and feedback to make it better,”

Mozilla has written within its surveys.

According to the company behind Firefox, users are encouraged to fill out the surveys if they want to take the new iOS version of Firefox for a spin. Mozilla will eventually poke them back to let them know they have been selected as a beta tester. Even if it looks like there is no room for other beta testers any longer, Mozilla still says that if you are curious about Firefox for iOS, you should join their mailing list. So you might as well play your chance.
