Bandit might be the most unusual name for a big screen smartphone though as things stand right now, that’s the way to refer to the phablet Nokia is rumored to be developing.

Also, in what can be considered to be surprising the least bit, a picture of the latest to join the Lumia lineage, the Lumia 1520 Bandit has also been out which shows the device in red. This will also mark the first Windows Phone from the Nokia clan to possess a 6 inch display. As per some of the sources the release date of the device is pegged sometime around late September in a New York City event along with more devices in queue.

The image that appears in red color was posted at WPCentral. The photograph clearly shows two devices, one in bright red and another smaller device next to it which should give us an idea of just how big, or for that matter, how small it is.

There has been no confirmation as of yet regarding the originality of the picture. According to what has been posted in the website, the Lumia 1520 could well be the first smartphone running Windows Phone to feature a full HD display. This will be a nice development considering the present Windows Phone devices from Nokia come with a maximum resolution of 720p.

The Lumia 1520 might as well comes with a 20MP of rear camera and like other Lumia devices will feature a polycarbonate body too. As per the rumors it might also feature a Snapdragon quad core processor too. That the camera will be benefitting from many of the advanced optics that is a part of the recently launched Lumia 1020 as well as the Lumia 925 is almost a surety.

A 6 inch display will also make the Lumia 1520 among the bigger phablets considering most offer display that is well below 6 inches. It is only the Sony Xperia Z Ultra that is an exception which too features a 6 inch display.
