Nokia is rumored to be working on a Windows Phone 8 powered phablet device. The image we have got for you is from the TENNAA website which is a regulatory body like Federal Communications Commission in US. The image shows you a large display device from Nokia that is going to probably run on Windows Phone 8 OS. Some tech enthusiasts feel it’s a phablet device but the specs speak otherwise.

From the image, we can feel that the device is quite slim and the body is made up of polycarbonate material which is the same material that is used on Lumia phones. From the information that has come from TENNA, the new smartphone which is under construction is going to be named as Lumia 625 and is going to sport 4.7inch display. Nokia has always offered smartphones with display sizes ranging from 4.3inch to 4.5inch display. So, this is going to be the first time that it offers a 4.7inch display phone.

Going by the size of the display, we are not sure whether it is a phablet device. We feel the Lumia 625 might be lowly priced smartphone. It is going to feature a 1GHz dual-core CPU. It is going to be available with 512MB RAM which makes us feel that it is surely slot itself as a budget phone. Even the resolution of the phone which is 800 x 480 pixels will also make you feel that the device is not that powerful enough to be called phablet. It will sport a 5MP camera which is quite decent offering for a phone that offers above mentioned features.

The specs of the rumored Lumia 625 along with its design which is similar to that of Lumia 521 indicate that the device will be sold as mid-range category phone. The Lumia 521 was directly sold to the customers at popular department stores like Wal-Mart. It means that instead of getting into a two-year contract with a carrier, interested buyers were allowed to purchase the phone at a low-price by paying an upfront and then the buyers could use the phone on prepaid services.

We have come to know pretty much about the phone which is under the wraps at the Nokia at the moment. The leaked information from TENNA also revealed that phone will be sold for $325.
