Plants vs Zombies 2 Available for iOS Users, Versions for Android, Mac and PC Not Announced

PopCap Games under the popular gaming brand Electronic Arts has launched a new edition of the Plants vs Zombies. The Plants vs Zombies 2 has been now announced for Apple products like iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. However, the developers of the game have not dedicated versions for other platforms like Android, PC and Mac OS.

The game can be downloaded for free from Apple App Store. The firm that has developed the game has claimed that the launching of the Plants vs Zombies 2 has been the most successful game launch ever. In fact, it has crossed more than 16 million downloads until the past Thursday. The game which has become one of the most downloaded apps on App Store appears to be one of the most desired for other platforms.

As compared to other platforms, the iOS operating system can help in making more money. Hence, the developers at PopCap have first focused on iOS. However, the makers should create an app for Android which is the largest operating system for mobile phones. The first version of Plants vs Zombies is available on Google Play store which means a dedicated version of the newest edition will be soon launched for Android.

According to recent stats, more and more people are spending much time enjoying the Plants vs Zombies 2 on iDevices. Recent stats have also revealed that gamers have logged over 25 million hours on the game since the time it was released. Electronic Arts have announced that soon they will be launching an update for the new game in the near future. The update is called Far Future; however, the release date of which has not been disclosed yet.

Like the predecessor version, the new version lets you enjoy the game by thwarting the virtual zombies. The game has become even more interesting thanks to the introduction of new zombies that have new capabilities. Also, it comes with new plants as well. It even allows you to a new plant before you play. A new plant can be purchased from the online store. Each plant is priced at 2.99USD.
