Here is some good news for owners of the Sony Xperia Z Smartphone. There is a new update that has been released and users of the Sony flagship device from Hong Kong, Belgium and Spain have confirmed availability of the update in their region. This update pushes the version of the OS to v.10.1.1.A.1.307. Owners of the gadget elsewhere have no reason to brood though for the update will soon be released in other region as well.
However, Sony has not given any changelog to accompany the update itself, which is normally the case for all updates. What this means is that users will have to download the update, install and then check out what changes the update brings to them.
Users who have applied the update though have reported the most important change the update has introduced is the White Balance calibration software. This application provides the Xperia smartphone to be adjusted for hue, white balance and color saturation easily. Then there is also the speed of the camera as well as the quality of photo taken that has improved. As reported by E-Price, users would notice the increase in sharpness of the photographs taken using the Xperia after the update has been applied. It would only be visible after the owner has tried out and compared the pictures with the ones taken before the update was installed.
Users would be able to download the update off the air is what is being expected. Users would however require the Sony PC companion application. Users in regions where the update have not been announced could check for the update if available via the application.
After having installed the update users must try out all the functions that they have used till now as also the new ones that have not been probably used by the owner of the gadget. There would be many interesting features that the user would get to see and also useful ones at that.
