Starbucks Isn’t Yet an Apple Pay Retail Partner

Apple Pay Retail PartnerCoffee is the most charming and bohemian drug ever existent. Its taste is tenacious and profound, it conquers and brings together. Especially at Starbucks, the world’s most famous coffee shop and cafeteria. And if Starbucks doesn’t keep up with the trend, who will? A new iOS application creates the possibility to pay at Starbucks with your smartphone. Just standing there at the other side of the bar, taking out your phone and connecting it to a reader device that does all the work. Convenient, right?

However, Starbucks isn’t yet an Apple Pay retail partner, so things get a little confusing on the way. Paying is possible but it actually needs a little big of help before. The process itself is very simple: you can’t pay for coffee with Apple Pay at Starbucks, but the Starbucks account can be reloaded using Apple Pay through the official Starbucks app. This possibility must be included only if the amount of money of the card hasn’t been updated to a more positive level and the app update would be included.

The first step is reloading the card with Apple Pay in the official Starbucks app,  followed by using the app itself in order to pay for the most beloved coffee. In this way, the coffee is actually being paid by Apple Pay, but only with the transitory part that is necessary. The process needs a key ingredient in order to work: a Touch key, without which all these benefits won’t be possible. The key also assures the client that the paying is completely safe and that nobody in the cafeteria would have access to your Apple Pay account. Unfortunately, this implies that no one won’t reload the card for you, either.

This small feature is included in the latest update of Starbucks’ app, but it most definitely isn’t the only one. The 3.2.1 update also includes an “enhanced” menu that gives all necessary data about ingredients and components of the chosen coffee, and also the number of calories that one serving includes. This will, or won’t be a future reason to reduce the number of frappuccinos or other tempting drinks that are so delicious.

Another vendor that helps its guests pay more easily is the Jet Blue, where the clients can choose between a lot of different special menus and can also enjoy the “Even more space” seating.
