BlackBerry A10, New BlackBerry 10 OS Phone to Arrive Soon – Leaked Photo Inside

July 12, 2013 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

BlackBerry A10 which is codenamed as BlackBerry Aristo is the next flagship device from the company. It is going to succeed the BlackBerry Z10 and will come with an upgraded version of the BlackBerry 10 operating system.

The BlackBerry A10 is going to be powered with BlackBerry 10 OS with version 10.2.0.552. The device is going to feature a 5inch Super AMOLED display that will support 1280 x 720 pixels. It will be powered with a dual-core CPU and dedicated GPU. It will also come with 2GB RAM.

What’s unique about the forthcoming BlackBerry A10 is that the manufacturers will be focusing on gaming this time. In fact, BlackBerry is calling the A10 as the most powerful and capable BlackBerry till now. One may feel why BlackBerry is using dual-core CPU instead of quad-core CPU in its latest offering. The reason behind it is that by BlackBerry has battery life issues and the BB10 at present can support dual-core CPU with optimized results.

The design of the BlackBerry A10 is less angular and somewhat looks like the Galaxy S4. The device is expected to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S4 and Apple iPhone 5. Like its predecessor, the A10 will not feature physical QWERTY keyboard. The rear of the phone is going to somewhat like what you see on the BlackBerry Q10. The corners of the phone are rounded.

BlackBerry has expressed that they wish to cater to consumers with varying income levels. In the near future, the BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q10 will be sold as mid range phones and by the fifth quarter the price of these phones may reduce even more. Rumors have it Sprint Nextel which released the BlackBerry Z10 will also sell the BlackBerry A10 first in the month of November.

Along with the leaked image of the BlackBerry A10, news about the all new BlackBerry 9720 surfaced yesterday. The device is poised to be up successor to the BlackBerry Q10. The look of the BlackBerry 9720 is similar to that of the good old BlackBerry 9700. The BlackBerry 9720 will run on BlackBerry OS 7. This means BlackBerry does not want to ignore the older BlackBerry OS 7. Also, there are still faithful fans for older QWERTY type devices.

We feel BlackBerry is doing a great job by bringing back the older BlackBerry OS 7. The BlackBerry will feature the good old QWERTY with a display resolution 480 x 360 pixels. The OS version will be OS 7.1. We are not sure when BlackBerry 9720 will be launched.

As of now, there is no official confirmation on the BlackBerry A10 specs. Some analysts feel that the A10 will feature an 8MP camera. The display resolution will be 1024 x 768 pixels. We have to wait until we hear official news from BlackBerry on the specs. Whether it will be real good device for high-end gaming, we are not sure. BlackBerry will have to build up developer relations in order to show unveil gaming capabilities of the anticipated BlackBerry A10.

At the beginning of 2013, BlackBerry had announced they have planned to release six new smartphones this year. The BlackBerry A10 will slot itself as the last BB10 phones for this year

Blackberry A10 Will Be The Company’s New Flagship, Will Launch in November

July 4, 2013 By Deborah Cobing 1 Comment

The next product from BlackBerry will be the A10 and is likely to be launched in November this year. The full touchscreen enabled A10 would be the successor to their Z10 model and will be the company’s new flagship model too. RIM aims to compete with the likes of iPhone 5S and Galaxy S4 with the upcoming A10.

BlackBerry_Z10

Earlier this year Sprint had refused to take on the BlackBerry Z10 in their merchandise while other network service providers lent their support for it. Probably Sprint had plans to take on the later model which is the A10 and has a better marketing strategy with that.  AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile have not announced anything about their intentions with the A10 so far. Sprint though has stated their support for the A10 would not hold monopoly on that device when it comes to the market. Which means other carriers can join in and have A10 on-board later on.

Amongst the BlackBerry variants, the A10 will be the third smartphone to run the company’s new BB10 operating system. No doubt it will relegate the Z10 and the Q10 to lower rungs while the A10 would hold roost. However, there is no reason to believe the Z10 would be dropped as the smartphone might still be there on the company’s list just as Samsung or Apple sells their Galaxy S3 or iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S respectively even if their next gen versions have reached markets.

There were high expectations during the BlackBerry Live event held last month for the company to announce the A10. But that did not happen. This was once again a good marketing strategy since companies like Samsung and Apple would have pitched in with the announcement of their Galaxy Note 3 and iPhone 5S respectively. This surely would have eclipsed the A10s prospect even if it impressed with its features and looks.

BlackBerry A10 Phablet to be Announced Soon after BB Z10 Success

June 17, 2013 By Troy Rubenson Leave a Comment

After the success of BlackBerry Z10 which introduced the entirely new BB10 OS to the world, BlackBerry is planning to roll out a large-sized phablet device called BlackBerry A10. The device will be manufactured to take on Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One.

During the CES 2013, BlackBerry announced that would first release the BlackBerry Z10 followed by BlackBerry Q10 and the same happened. They had also promised that will be releasing more BB10 devices this year. Here comes the BlackBerry A10 phablet.

blackberry a10

Couple of years ago, BlackBerry was very popular. However, as Android and iOS started gaining popularity, BlackBerry’s popularity went down. It reached to such a point that had to make some big changes in their strategy to remain in competition. Hence, they worked on a new operating system and released a full-touch Z10 and QWERTY based touch and type phone. Now, BlackBerry wants to give tough time to the big players and that is the reason they are working on a phablets device.

BlackBerry hopes to reinstate its ailing fortunes by releasing the BlackBerry A10 phablet device. The device is considered to be successor to the BlackBerry Z10. However, this is no official confirmation about from BlackBerry. BlackBerry is just starting out again and has to reestablish itself as a brand. The BlackBerry A10 phablet can help the brand to fight against the bigger brands. It is believed that A10 is going to be released later this year.

In order to reestablish the BlackBerry brand, the manufacturer needs to partner with popular carriers. The good news is that the BlackBerry A10 is going to be available on Sprint’s network. The BlackBerry A10 phablet is going to be 5inch sized device. Since it is going to be new flagship phablet device, BlackBerry will load the device with plenty of exciting features.

The arrival of the BlackBerry A10 will lower the price of the BlackBerry Z10. BlackBerry is supposed to launch a total of five smartphones this year. They have already launched the Z10, Q10 and Q5. Now two phones are still remaining. Among the two, one is going to BlackBerry A10 and nothing much is known about the other device. The BlackBerry A10 is expected to be the mystery BB10 device that CEO Thorsten Heins was talking about during a previous interview.

BB A10 Release Date – Sprint to Carry New BlackBerry Flagship Phone

June 11, 2013 By Janet Vasquez 1 Comment

The new BB10 operating system marks BlackBerry’s return to the big scene after having driven almost the brink by competitors such as Apple and Samsung in the last few years. So far, the company has come up with two handsets based on BB10, the full touchscreen enabled Z10 and the Q10 that comes with a QWERTY keypad. Both the models are available in the US market and has met with reasonable to good response.

However, BlackBerry is all too aware just two smartphone models won’t ensure its survival in the cut throat competitive market of today. They have already ceded a lot of territory to other handset makers and it only has to make positive moves from now onwards to ensure hey survive in the long run. Towards this, Blackberry is already believed to be neck deep in the development of another device which is expected to be launched later in the year.

BlackBerry10

Codenamed A10, the new device will take over from the Z10 as the new flagship device featuring a full touch enabled display. The Z10 in turn will slip to a rung lower but is not likely to be phased out altogether. Instead, the Z10 will be settled as a mid-range device. Another point of interest is that Sprint in all probability would have priority with the A10 though not an absolute exclusivity. This, many believe has been the reason for the carrier not evincing any interest in the Z10 model as it was waiting for the A10 to be out.

The A10 release dates have not yet been confirmed officially. It can however be expected to be available in November. When would the other carriers come out with their announcement for the A10, is yet not sure. Details about the A10 are also as of now not available. It would have a 1080p display is what the talks suggest. Hopefully, we would be able to get to the bottom of this as we drift towards the month of November.
