HTC One Max Launch to Happen this Month after Galaxy Note 3

September 3, 2013 By Troy Rubenson Leave a Comment

Did you hear about the news that the HTC One Max is expected to arrive in the last quarter of this year? If yes, then you will be surprised to know that the HTC One Max is expected to come out in the market sooner than you expected. The reason why we are saying this is that recent leaks have shown that the HTC One Max was found passing three Wi-Fi certifications to take on the Galaxy Note 3.

When the HTC One had come out in the market earlier than the Galaxy S4, it had good time to grab the attention of the audience. However, because of poor advertising strategy, it failed to capitalize on a very favorable situation. Then the Galaxy S4 arrived and managed to grab the numero uno spot thanks to its powerful advertising strategy and impressive specs.

Now, HTC and Samsung battle is going to happen again soon. This time it is going to be battle between the phablet devices from both the brands. First it was thought that the HTC One Max is still in its developmental stage and even though it has competitive specs like that Note 3, it will arrive later than the Samsung counterpart. After that, it was rumored that the HTC One Max will appear in the fourth quarter of 2013 and now analysts are feeling that the Taiwanese manufacturer may time the release of HTC One Max in September to compete with Galaxy Note 3.

The HTC One Max will not only compete with the Note 3 but also with Sony Xperia Z Ultra. The recently leaked specs of HTC One Max show that it is going to house a 6 inch display which is smaller than Xperia Z Ultra’s display. It is going to be a full HD display with support for 1080p. It will be powered with Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor that will deliver a clocking speed of 2.3GHz. It has also got a 2GB RAM onboard and it will receive its power from a massive 3200mAh battery.

The September 4 is the date tech enthusiasts are concentrating on, as Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 3 tomorrow. Recently, three HTC One Max handsets were found passing the Wi-Fi Alliance. Fresh rumors are doing rounds that there are going to be three variants of the HTC One Max.

Here are the three expected HTC One Max variants. The HTC T6_U will be a device that will not support LTE connectivity. The HTC T6_ULA that will support Advanced LTE connectivity. The third variant is T6_WL which is going to be release in North America.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumored To Come With 2.5 GB RAM

September 3, 2013 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

This could well be among the last of rumor stories concerning the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 device. The latest that the renowned leakster evleaks has come up with concerning the Note 3 is that the big screen smartphone will come with a 2.5 GB RAM. That makes it 512 MB short of the 3 GB RAM that was being widely circulated as the RAM strength of the Note 3 device.

Samsung-Galaxy-Note-III

While the above is still not expected to bring about a drastic change in the performance of the phablet, some have opined that the Note 3 will be accompanied with a 3 GB RAM though its about 2.5 GB that will be at the user’s disposal while the remaining 512 MB could be fixed for some other task. So after taking into account the above rumor, the internal build-up of the Note 3 looks something like this: a 2.3 GHz quad core CPU, 2.5 GB RAM along with 32/64 GB of internal memory. As per evleaks, the above applies to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 version. The operating system on-board will be Android 4.3.

Among the other things that have also come to the fore courtesy of evleaks include an AnTuTu benchmark score supposedly that of the Note 3 as well as the About Device screen. Thankfully, the rumor will be short lived as we are not too far from coming across the real thing. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 3 device on Wednesday, September 4, just 2 days ahead of the IFA event kicking off in Berlin.

Galaxy Note 3 Release Date of Cheaper Variant Rumored to be in the Making

September 2, 2013 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

As if we have not had enough of rumors on the Galaxy Note 3 device, here is some more. Now as per a report citing sources privy to Samsung’s smartphone ambitions, the South Korean manufacturer could be seen releasing a cheaper variant of the Note 3. Yes there are rumors of cheaper galaxy note 3 release date.

However, it is not known as of now if a cheaper variant will also entail a smaller display area as well, something that Samsung has been up to with its Galaxy S4 Mini which sports a slightly smaller display compared to the S4. However, what also can’t be denied is that the Note 3 typifies larger display which again is of critical importance for the many unique features the device has come to offer.

galaxy_note

What is a certainty though is that the cheaper Note 3 version will have slightly lower capacity internals. While nothing stands confirmed as of now, a slightly less capable chip such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor or a matching Exynos 5 chip could be seen powering the upcoming budget Note 3 device.

That apart, a slightly lower internal memory such as say 16 GB could also be incorporated to cut costs, with a micro SD card slot added to allow more to be added later. The same applies to the camera as well, with an 8 mp camera likely to be included in the Note 3 while the flagship Galaxy Note 3 can continue with the 13 mp camera that is also included in the Galaxy S4. Another area where Samsung can save a few bucks is by incorporating a LCD display of acceptable resolution instead of a super AMOLED display that the Note 3 is rumored to come with.

All of the above is still in rumor stages though if Samsung indeed comes up with a lower priced Note 3 than it could mean the death knell for many a smartphone device. Not to mention, this will also kick off a price war among smartphone manufacturers. Such a trend will also surely be picked up by other manufacturers of large screen smartphones so that we could now be seen lower priced versions of flagship phablet devices flooding the market.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date in September Ahead of HTC One Max

August 25, 2013 By Troy Rubenson 1 Comment

This year we came to know that out of nowhere HTC has become one of major rivals for Samsung. The HTC One has been one of the most purchased smartphones of the year after Galaxy S4 from Samsung. Samsung is now working on the Galaxy Note 3, release date of which is expected to be unveiled in September. However, HTC has got the HTC One Max to compete with the Note 3 but the competition won’t be that fierce as most thought.

The HTC One Max release date is not going to happen in September but the phone will be unveiled in the last quarter of this year. The Galaxy Note 3 will be launched at the IFA Event which will be held on 4th of September at Berlin, Germany.

htc-one-max

The anticipation for the HTC One Max phablet is increasing day by day. The specs of the HTC One Max seem very promising as it will sport a huge display of 5.9inches. The full HD will be powered with a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU and 2GB RAM. It will house HTC’s very own Ultrapixel camera. It will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and like the Galaxy Note 3, it will also come with a stylus.

HTC One Max was expected to come out alongside the Galaxy Note 3 at the IFA event. This is not going to happen. By the time HTC One Max comes out in the market in 2014, the Galaxy Note 3 may lead the phablet market. However, if the specs of the HTC One Max turns out to be better than the Note 3, surely Samsung will have to do something to stay ahead of competition from rising brands.

The HTC One as well as the HTC One Mini are plagued with battery issue. So, HTC needs to work on this area to make sure it does not disappoint its fans. Hence, the HTC One Max should come out with a battery life. According to the rumors, the HTC One Max is expected to be powered by a massive 3300mAh battery.

It has been learnt through Focus Taiwan that the CEO of HTC, Ben Ho is planning to roll out to two or three HTC Desire models in the third quarter of this year and in the last quarter a new variant of the HTC One will be announced. We feel that this new variant is surely the HTC One Max.

American actor, Robert Downey, Jr has been signed up HTC for promoting the new phablet. So, we can expect a swanky launch for the HTC One Max and it would also be interesting to see the after-launch promotional campaign. He has been signed up as the ‘Instigator of Change’ campaigner on a two year agreement for 1 billion dollars.

By releasing the Note 3 in September, Samsung will be sticking to launching almost around the same when previous flagship models were released. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is releasing almost a month or two before the rival HTC One Max. So, if HTC fails to promote its newest flagship device well, chances are that the sales of Galaxy Note 3 can affect the launch and sales of HTC One Max.

Also, by the time HTC One Max comes in the market, new models like Moto X, LG G2 and iPhone 5S will already be competing against each other. So, HTC needs to plan its strategy well. So, let us look forward for the release date of both the phablets, HTC One Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Galaxy Note 3 Release Date and Sneak Peek on Features

August 24, 2013 By Sebastian Mc’Mannen Leave a Comment

The tech world knows it well and they are eagerly anticipating for September 4 because on that day the Samsung Unpack Event will be held at Berlin which will unleash the all new Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Soon the Galaxy Note 2 which is still a very competitive product will be replaced by its successor Galaxy Note 3.

Here is a low down on what you can expect from samsung on Galaxy Note 3 release date.

Design and Color of Galaxy Note 3

Have you been following the news about the Galaxy Note 3? If you have been doing so, you will know it pretty well that the new phablet from Samsung will come out with a refreshing design. When we look at the leaked pics of Galaxy Note 3, it clearly indicates an angular body. Also, it is rumored that the product will be available in three different screen sizes like 5.5 inches, 5.7 inches and 6.0 inches.

galaxy note 3 release date

We are still not sure whether the different screen sizes were only used for developmental purpose or if the actual device will be avail in three different screen size variants. What we do feel is that Samsung will offer bigger sized phablet which will not feel or appear bulky.

According to recent rumors, the new phablet from Samsung is expected to come out in different colors namely, white, black and pink. According to SamMobile, Samsung will be releasing the black and white edition of Note 3 first and then it will be rolling out the pink colored Note 3 in the last week of October.

Better Hardware

Having 2GB RAM on a handset has become quite common now. It is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be able to deliver smooth performance through 3GB RAM.

The  Note 3 has to be a better phablet than the Note 2. New leaks have revealed that the Note 3 will be running on an Exynos Octa-core processor. Tech enthusiasts also feel that there will be two iterations of the Note 3, one that is powered with Snapdragon 800 CPU and another that is powered with Exynos octa-core CPU.

Latest Android OS

Since the Galaxy Note 3 is arriving next month, it will probably come out with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean which is the latest Android OS. It is rumored that even the predecessor model, the Note 2, will soon receive the Android 4.3 update. Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie is the next version of Android which is in the making. It will arrive next year but we feel it will be readily available for the Galaxy Note 3.

Improved Stylus

Since the phablet is mainly advertised as an electronic note-making device, it comes with a stylus for navigation and making notes. We feel the new stylus on the Galaxy Note 3 will be much more intuitive than before.

13MP Camera

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will sport a 13MP. It will come with optical image stabilization feature that will help buyers to snap stunning photos. Also, it is rumored that the phablet will be able to record high quality videos in low lighting conditions.

Galaxy Note 3 Release Date and Expected Features on September 4

August 20, 2013 By Georgia Dawson Leave a Comment

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is going to be released at the IFA Event that is to be organized on September 4 at Berlin, Germany. The event will reveal the features as well as the release date of Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung has been consistent on its releases. In the past years, Samsung has launched its Galaxy S series handset in the spring while the Galaxy Note models have launched in the fall. The same is happening with the Galaxy Note 3 as it scheduled to arrive this September. Tech analysts feel the Galaxy Note 3 will release in few weeks after it is announced at the September event.

Galaxy Note 3 Release Date

The Galaxy Note 3 will sport a bigger display than its predecessor. It will come with a 5.6inches full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x1080 pixels. The size of the device will be same as Note 2 but the difference will be in the size of the display.

A 13MP camera will be found seated at the back of the device. The design of the Note 3 will be similar to that of its predecessor model.  It will derive its horsepower from a 1.8GHz octa-core Exynos 5420 CPU which will be supported by 3GB RAM. It will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and enormous battery life.

galaxy_note_3

The Note 3 will be available in three storage variants namely, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. According to a recent leak, it has been found that Samsung will be primarily promoting the 32GB variant.

The Galaxy Note 3 will be first available in the home country and after a few weeks of its release, the device is expected to enter US markets. US received the Galaxy S4 at the same time when other regions received it. So, we can expect the same about US Galaxy Note 3 release date.

We feel that major US carriers will very soon start pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 3. Even if Note 3 gets sold out during the pre-order stage, Samsung fans do not need to worry as the Korean tech giant will be supplying more handsets to major markets.

The Galaxy Note 3 which will launch September will soon many find devices competing with it. Several phones are expected to arrive in the remaining months of the year such as the LG G2, iPhone 5S, Moto X, Sony Xperia Ultra Z and lastly the HTC One Max.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date: Specs, Availability Discussed

August 18, 2013 By Jack M. Robinson 2 Comments

The next big tech piece coming our way in a post Moto X and LG G2 world is of course the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date. As things stand right now, the big screen smartphone from Sammy is all set to see the light of day on September 4. Of course Samsung is not claiming they are going to launch the Note 2 successor on the specified date though the invites are already out. And they carry enough hints of what to expect on that day, which incidentally is just 2 days prior to the IFA event getting underway.

Galaxy Note 3 Features, Specs

Meanwhile, there has been no dearth of rumors and speculations of what the device will carry in its latest avatar. As a quick re-cap, a 5.68 inch full HD display will be there for the taking, one that will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device will have the same external dimensions as Note 2 in spite of offering a slightly larger display. Also, as is common practice by Samsung, there will be two versions of the device that differ from the choice of processor each packs in. While a variant powered by the 1.8GHz Octa-core Exynos 5420 processor is almost a certainty, the choice of CPU with the other variant continues to be shrouded in mystery.

Samsung-Galaxy-Note-III

Other tech bits likely associated with the Note 3 include a 13 MP camera that benefits from optical image optimization to allow for better quality images. Coming to the OS, there are every chances of the Note 3 to eventually emerge as the launching device for Android Jelly Bean version 4.3. The Note 3 is believed to come with a 3200mAh battery to allow for comfortable run times. And lastly, not to forget the S Pen stylus too is part of the package.

Galaxy Note 3 Release Date in the Market

As for its actual market debut, prospective buyers can take solace from the fact that Samsung has been trying its best to bridge the gap between the launching date and actual release date of its devices in the last few years. The Galaxy Note 2 was released soon after its announcement at IFA and a similar sort of thing is also expected with the Note 3 as well. However, such a thing may not be applicable to the Verizon supported Note 3 going by the reputation of the biggest 4G LTE service provider that usually lag by a few months with the actual release of a device.

Samsung is also expected to release a lot of accessories with the device, though customers shouldn’t be expecting to get it all on the day it releases. Just like Google, Samsung too takes quite a lot of time to release the accessories, which can be even one month after the device is released. The actual price of the device is unknown as of now, but for those looking for current deals can look up at Amazon and Wirefly for discounts on the release day itself.

However, what makes the Galaxy Note 3 crucial for Samsung is the fact that the big screen smartphone could well be the last major device that the South Korean manufacturer could have for the smartphone segment. With the S4 already having almost slipped off track, the success of Note 3 has assumed additional importance for its maker to cling on to the leadership position it has come to occupy. The S5 is not expected anytime before spring 2014.

Galaxy Note 3 Release Date, Features Discussed

August 13, 2013 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

Rumors about the Samsung Note 2 replacement, the Galaxy Note 3 release date has been doing the rounds for quite some time now though we seem to be heading towards a culmination of it all. Nothing is confirmed but Samsung has been sending out press invites for an event titled Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 planned on September 4th, just 2 days ahead of the IFA 2013 event kicking off.

However, the South Korean tech giant did include a cryptic message to go with the invitation, which reads ‘Note the Date 04.09.2013 Berlin’, which makes us believe it being the Galaxy Note 3 that the event will yield.

Galaxy note 3 release date

The eventual release date of Galaxy Note 3 is pegged around late September though the actual date is expected to be revealed on September 4 itself. At least, the late September release does seem relevant for the US even though the device is not being launched in the US. Samsung will surely try to ensure the Note 3 breaks into the US retail scene soon enough given the lackluster performance of the Galaxy S4 and the increasing competition in both the smartphone and phablet segment.

Both HTC and Sony has upped the ante in the phablet segment by launching the One Max and the Xperia Z Ultra respectively. The enhanced competition could somehow make the launch schedule of the Note 3 a bit sketchy as Samsung devices are to some extent dependent on carrier’s discretion.

As for the it’s specs, the Note 3 is likely to feature a 5.68 inch full HD AMOLED display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. There will be two variants of the Note 3 codenamed SM-N900 and SM-9005. While it is the 1.8 GHz Octa core Exynos 5420 processor seems certain for the model codenamed SM-N900, the Snapdragon 800 chip is likely to be the candidate for SM-9005. The device is rumored to have a 3 GB RAM along with a 13 mp camera at the rear. As for the operating system, its Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that seems more likely. However all can be confirmed on September 4, the Galaxy Note 3 release date.

HTC T6 or HTC One Max Release Date Rumored To Take on Galaxy Note 3

July 2, 2013 By Deborah Cobing Leave a Comment

It can be either HTC T6 or the HTC One Max but both point to a phablet device from HTC that is aimed at countering the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This would be the first phablet device from the Taiwanese company and is expected to be launched around the same time as the Note 3. This no doubt will extend the rivalry of the two companies to a whole new segment after their current flagship offerings, the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One are currently engaged in a one-to-one battle the world over. The enmity is soon expected to spill over to another segment when both HTC and Samsung launch their HTC One Mini and Galaxy S4 Mini respectively, both of which are rumored to be close to making the market debut. To be launched soon thereafter, it could be the year end or so when the two new products, HTC One Max and the Galaxy Note 3 enter the ring.

HTC-One

Samsung’s offering in the phablet segment last year was the Galaxy Note 2 device. This was a smartphone that came with a large screen that set it away from the others in the market. This was one feature that had made an instant hit amongst consumers. All of that had translated into brisk sales for Samsung. Most other companies including HTC watched from the sidelines while Samsung ruled the roost here.

However, things could be different this time with HTC already having made know their wish to field a competitor to the Note 3 in the form of the One Max. The HTC One has already won a lot of accolades the world over for its performance and features and it’s only natural to expect all of those and more on the phablet version as well. Telecom operators too are believed to be licking at the prospect of a bigger version of the HTC One entering the market sometime later. Expect more details to surface as we approach the final launch of the two mega devices. However, apart from the hardware which in any case will be impressive, it will be the software that could turn out to be the game changer here along with the functionality that the devices throws up. We already have an idea of the Note series and HTC sure will have to better it comprehensively.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date – New Pic Revealed

June 26, 2013 By Deborah Cobing Leave a Comment

Of Galaxy Note 3 leaks, we have had quite a few of them so far and there is another one to tease our senses. The latest however provides the first clear view of the device in all its glory (or rather we’d say almost) though  the only remorse here is that the device has been shown along the sides. As such, a clear view of the front of the device is missing. But then, it’s a lot better than the previous set of leaks of the Galaxy Note 3 that we have come across so far. However, let’s not forget it’s just a leaked image and no one knows for sure if it indeed is the new Galaxy Note 3.

galaxy-note-3

This, since it’s easy to confuse with the new Galaxy S4. Among the things that can be made out from the leaked image include a prominent home button which is similar to that seen on the S4. The on/off button is along the middle of the right side of the device. The same for the S4 is along the top edge. Worth mentioning here, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 too has its on/off button along the middle of device’s side. The front facing camera is placed along the right side of the front speaker.

Similar to its looks, not much is known about the Note 3’s internal make up. Its all speculations here and its believed the Note 3 will pack in a Snapdragon 80 chip while running Android 4.2.2 Android Jelly Bean right out of the box. A 5.99 inch full HD touchscreen display also seems to be a surety so far.

As for its availability, Samsung traditionally has been launching its Galaxy Note devices at the IFA event in Germany. If a similar schedule is also followed for the new Note 3, expect it to be released at this years IFA event in September. But then there also are rumors of Samsung advancing the release date of Galaxy Note 3 to make up for the less than expected sales of the Galaxy S4.
