Investigating the Maryland Mansion Fire

January 21, 2015 By Janet Vasquez Leave a Comment

maylandmansionfireThe police have begun investigating the Maryland mansion fire. Today, federal investigators are looking through the ashes remained from the mysterious fire. The critical part is that six people are still reported missing because of the Maryland fire.
Four children and their grandparents are still missing after the fire burst into flames. The six relatives were believed to have been inside the mansion at half pas three Monday morning. Family members and near-by neighbors stated that the six missing victims were inside the mansion when the fire broke out.
The fire alarm was the device which reported the fire. However, the mansion was not equipped with fire sprinklers, this being the main cause of the raging fire. The 9 million dollar mansion was not required to be equipped with fire sprinklers at the moment when it was built.
ABC News reported that the mansion did not have any financial issues or lawsuits in the past years. The mansion has been a quiet one for most of its existence, no troubles have ever been reported there. Nevertheless, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives states that foul play should not yet been excluded from the suspect motives of the fire.
ATF’s Baltimore Field Division reassured that the team who is working on this case will not rest until each piece of evidence from every room is attentively studied. Therefore, time is in order for the law enforcement to investigate the scene. People are advised to be patient in order to receive an accurate and fair report.
Officials estimate that the investigation will take days, even weeks until they find something conclusive. Because the mansion was quite big, it collapsed while it burned, scattering pieces of debris all over the area. Those pieces are to be moved in order to investigate that area as well. The stabilized environment will allow emergency crews to pump out the water from the basement area caused by firefighters’ attempts to calm down the raging fire.
Search dogs will also be brought at the fire scene to search for evidence or for any bodies. Friends and family of the missing ones affirm that there is no one who would want to hurt Don Pyle or his wife Sandy. His colleagues say that he was a tech executive with great leadership skills. The entire Annapolis area is being searched for the missing relatives.
The Maryland fire burst burned down 16,000-square-foot until officials were able to eliminate residual hot spots.
