iOS 7.0.3 for iPhone and iPad Expected Soon

October 6, 2013 By Jack M. Robinson Leave a Comment

All the issues that iPhone users have been facing with the iMessages application are to be solved when the next update form Apple is issued, which should be iOS version 7.0.3. The same update should also take care of the software problems that the iPads which had been delivered for school usage were found to be having.

Many users have been unable to use iMessages and had to make do with the standard text messages only on their mobile devices ever since they upgraded to iOS 7 as well as the two subsequent updates of 7.0.1 and 7.0.2. Apple had issued some settings to be applied on the network to resolve this problem which appears to have done so only temporarily as the issue has cropped up again.

The iOS 7.0.3 update is being worked on actively by Apple and they have mentioned a possible launch sometime soon for the official roll out. Users could expect a permanent solution when that happens is what Apple has stated.

The other problem is the application running on the iPads that had been distributed to schools for use by students. Teachers were supposed to be able to monitor the usage of the iPad by the students. However, that is now how things turned out to be due to the non-functioning of the monitoring. Of course the students aren’t complaining as it allowed them to use the iPad at will without being monitored. This problem too has been reported to be affecting almost all the iPads devices distributed to the school districts.

That Apple has confirmed and acknowledged the issues is a good sign, for users can expect the update soon which would solve these problems. There is the iOS 7.1 update as well which Apple is working on but that would take quite some time in being completed and released. It would be with the iPad Mini 2 and iPad 5 that we can expect iOS 7.1 to come into force. As of now it is the iOS 7.0.3 version that is expected to arrive earliest and would solve the above mentioned issues.
