Google Rumored to Launch Nexus 10 2 on Nov 29, Black Friday

November 27, 2013 By Janet Vasquez Leave a Comment

The holiday season isn’t too far away which means the preceding shopping period is even closer. Consumer purse strings are the loosest this time round which makes it the best time of the year for the manufacturers to go for the kill with their wares. Manufacturers also time the launch of their devices to clash with the shopping season to ensure maximum uptake by the consumers. So it shouldn’t be surprising for the mobile world to be abuzz with news of the Nexus 10 2 being released in time for Google to take full advantage of the buying spree that people get into during this time. Google however is yet to make any official announcement about the issue. Speculations are rife about Black Friday which falls on November 29 to be the D-day, and it seems that they would all come true for those many customers eagerly waiting for this gadget.

Black Friday is a very special day for all which includes the manufacturers, retailers, or the general consumers as this marks the onset of the holiday shopping season. This seems to be especially true for the mobile or smartphone makers this time given the wide array of schemes that are announced to promote sales on that day which complements the wide choice of devices available. Google surely will not like to let go of this opportunity and pitch in their Nexus 10 2 in the list of items up for sale.

Of course both the new Apple tablets, the iPad Air and the iPad mini with Retina display will be hot favorite among the shoppers which also would make Google look up and indulge them with their latest offering to the market.

It is not only Apple but there is Microsoft with the Nokia Lumia 2520 that would also be making its mark in the market this shopping season. The Lumia 2520 is a 10 inch tablet and has been available via Verizon and AT&T since November 22.

As for its specifications, the Google Nexus 10 2 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor along with an Adreno 330 GPU to handle the graphics. It will have 2 GB of RAM and a rear facing camera of 5 MP resolution. It would come in variants of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB of storage space. The display which has been a high point of the first gen Nexus 10 is expected to be retained for the new version as well, which speak of a 10.1 inch screen that boasts of a stunning resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.

So far as cost of the Nexus 10 2 goes,  it is being speculated the cost would be in line with that of the Nexus 10. If that be true, the 16 GB would be fetching for $399 while the 32 GB variant would fetch for $499.

Google Nexus 10 2 will Feature Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, But It May Take Some time to Arrive

August 4, 2013 By Deborah Cobing 2 Comments

It’s been hardly 10 days since Nexus 7 2 was released and Google has announced that they will also be launching Google Nexus 10 2 in the near future. The Nexus 7 2 which was released recently is the first device to run on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

The Nexus 10 2 is a Samsung device and its arrival in the near future has been confirmed by none other than Sundar Pichai who is the president of Android and Chrome. The Nexus 7 2 was released a year after the original Nexus 7 was released in 2012. For those are interested in purchasing the Nexus 7 2 can pre-order it.

The news of the forthcoming Nexus 10 2 which is under the wraps came from Wall Street report Amir Efrati. Pichai did not confirm the release dae of Nexus 10 2. However, through the history of the company, we can guess the timing of the arrival of the said product.
Google Nexus

In 2012, the Nexus 7 first edition was launched after Google I/O event which took place at the end of June. The 2012 fall saw the arrival of the Nexus 10 tablet PC. When the Nexus 7 was launched, it was brought out with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the Nexus 10 which came out later was brought out with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Nexus 10 tablet was released in November 2012 and it came out with Android 4.2. It has not been a year since the device was released and Google has gone ahead and announced the news on the next gen Google Nexus 10 2. The original Nexus 10 was a Samsung product and the forthcoming Nexus 10 2 will also be manufactured by Samsung. We feel the Nexus 10 2 may come to light around October or November.

Apart from the information that the device being manufactured by Samsung and its arrival in the near future, Google has not revealed anything about the product. So, if you are excited to know the specs of the Nexus 10 2, you will have to wait little until rumor mill starts churning out new rumors.

Since the Android 4.3 is not an overhaul update, we feel the Nexus 10 2 will come out with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. Google has a habit of releasing the most recent Android version exclusively on its Nexus devices. Now that the much awaited Android 4.3 update has been released with Nexus 7 2, by the time Nexus 10 2 comes out in the market, the Android 4.3 will not be new anymore as it will be available on non-Nexus devices as well. So, the tech world is of the view that Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie should debut with Nexus 10 2.

So, if Google adheres to the plan which it has done so far by releasing the Android 4.3 powered Nexus 7.2, we can anticipate that the Nexus 10 2 powered with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie will arrive in the fall.

The launching of Nexus 10 2 will happen alongside the launching of Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 is believed to be the replacement for Nexus 4 smartphone.. During the same event, Pichai had also announced that the recently released Chromecast product will not replace Google TV. He went on to announce that in the near future, newer Google TV products will be released.

The original Nexus 10 measures are powered with 1.7GHz dual-core CPU from Samsung Exynos 5250 system. It has got quad-core ARM Mali T604 GPU and 2GB RAM. The 10inch display boasts a pixel density of 300.24ppi. The rear camera is of 5MP which is capable of shooting 1080p full HD videos and the secondary camera is of 1.9MP. It is powered with 9000mAh Li-Po battery.

The forthcoming months will see the arrival of interesting devices like Nexus 5, Nexus 10 2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, new iPhone and BlackBerry A10 to name a few. So which device are you planning to lay your hands on?
