4G is the latest in network technology and service providers are quite loud when they mention this ability in their list of services. In U.K., Vodafone is all set to usher in the 4G era by this summer itself and to help customers in using the service they are teaming up with gadget makers to make 4G capable devices available to the subscribers.
Vodafone is now offering the Sony Xperia Tablet Z from their UK website. This tablet comes with 16 GB of storage and is available in the color options of white or black. The tablet has been priced £99 which includes a monthly subscription of £32 to avail of the Vodafone 4G services while the data allowance per month stands at 2 GB. In case the customer does not want 2 GB of data usage per month, subscriber can also opt for 1 GB of data usage per month. This way the rate per month comes down to £28 though the initial cost of the device shoots up to £199.
At the Sony UK store, the 4G LTE variant of the device is listed at £499, though it displays as out of stock for now. There are no other subscription charges required for this variant. Other options for interested customers are the Wi-Fi only model of the Sony Xperia which has been priced at £399 and £449 for the 16 GB and 32 GB version of the tablet respectively.
Spec wise, the Xperia tablet comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip that works in conjugation with a 2 GB RAM. This makes for breezy performance credentials while the tablet also impresses with its slim and light build. In fact, the Xperia Tablet Z is the slimmest tablet around while also being water and dust proof.
