The one and only network service provider in the US who are going to offer the Sony Xperia Z on their network is T-Mobile. This device would be custom made for use on the T-Mobile service network. Customers would also get the handset at Sony, but that would be sans the SIM loaded. Price of the gadget on the T-Mobile site has not been announced as yet. That there would be no need to subscribe for their service has been confirmed.
The special feature of the Xperia Z model as explained by Jason Young who is the Vice President of Product Marketing at T-Mobile is its big screen that is HD capable. The device is also distinct in that it is both water and dust proof while the 13 megapixel rear camera has quite some advanced technology and features behind it. T-Mobile, he explained is known for its high speed network services. The Xperia Z from Sony would therefore make a perfect combination with its 4G LTE ability to optimally utilize the speed which T-Mobile has in its resource. As for technical specification, the Xperia Z comes with a 1920 x 1080 pixels screen of 5 inch size. Under its hood the Xperia Z is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that clocks at 1.5 GHz. For graphics handling that gamers would be more interested in, the Xperia Z comes with an ANDRENO 320 GPU chip. The onboard storage capacity of the Xperia Z is 16 GB and RAM is of 2 GB. A microSD card slot makes for adding extra storage capacity to the device with a limit of 32 GB.
The only bit of information left is the pricing of the device which should soon be out, and interested customers would surely be on the lookout for that detail.
