The Microsoft Cortana VA Is Becoming a Real Secretary for You

microsoft cortana vaThe Microsoft Cortana VA is becoming a real secretary for you. Microsoft’s intelligent virtual assistant, the famous Cortana, is receiving a few new functions from this week on, with early testers in the Windows Insider system having a look at these innovative resources.

Cortana’s developers guarantee to make it smarter eventually, as it understands a user’s personal choices and it provides a variety of location pointers for some time. For instance, if people know that that they have to buy some food for supper, they can be notified when are close to the grocery store.

Now, the company is getting it to the next level by offering reminders when users promise to do certain things in their e-mails. It is meant to help fix the permanent issue that many people experience, agglomerated in-boxes and a propensity to forget your promises made when you send a message.

The function is the outcome of testing carried by Microsoft’s analysis team and it allegedly uses natural terminology processing to recognize things users said that they will do and the period when they intend to do them. Cortana is able to automatically remind people of this responsibility through its pop-up alerts.

Regarding this new productivity trend, a new function will also let people handle their scheduled activities more efficiently. For instance, if a person tries to schedule a business interview during a period you do not usually work (like nights or week-ends), Cortana will mark this as potential issue and tell the user to reschedule the meeting or to modify the alert if it is a meeting that cannot be postponed or cancelled.

First presented in the Windows 8.1, version, Cortana was originally released as a try out program in the United States before coming in England and a number of other marketplaces. Before the release of Microsoft’s Windows 10 in 2015, the company said that its Siri-like VA would be arriving on the PCs, too.

The AI industry is becoming a major segment, with significant tech developers and growing start-ups making an investment of time and money into automating people’s way of life by training digital systems to “think” by themselves.

Specialists are still at the beginning of this AI trend, but your computer’s capability to make sure that you do not forget significant promises symbolizes a little but important enhancement for its area of research.

Microsoft has not given any details about when the function will appear in the primary customer form of Windows OS, but if you are part of its Insider Program, you will be capable to get access from this week.
