
Young and worried? Take care of your heart
STATES CHRONICLE – We know that stress is one of the biggest threats to our health. As a young woman, there can be a lot of problems on your mind. What you should know is that stress can be dangerous for your heart, especially if you have a heart disease. Even if you think you are healthy, you will not know for sure until you will go to a doctor. You might think that your heart is fine and, after a few years, you will discover that there are some problems.
Researchers used a data of 700 men and women who had heart diseases. They put them in a stressful public speaking situation and they measured the blood pressure. The scientists discovered that women younger than 50 years old were four times likely than men to have reduced blood flow to the heart. At older people, there was no difference between men and women which means that younger people are more stressed than their parents, for example.
There was already known that younger women can have more issues due to stress than man. However, they did not know why this happened. This new report could help younger women understand they should not stress if they do not want heart diseases. If you have already a heart disease, the danger is bigger. There is no surprise that younger women are more stressed than other people.
They are at that age when they have to build a career while taking care of their family. When you have a job and children you are more worried and this is how stress becomes a part of your life. However, you should pay more attention to your health if you want to be healthy. What can you do to reduce the stress?
You should spend more time doing what you like. See a movie, take a walk in the park, read more, go out and enjoy your free time. Most young women are spending time thinking about their problems. Instead of being worried, you could do activities that make you happier. Moreover, stay close to your family and friends. They will help you no matter what and we already know that when we talk to someone, we are feeling better. These things are easy to do and they can help you with your heart disease.
We know that being a young woman it is not easy, especially at the moment. However, you should be aware of the fact that you are the only person that can change this situation.
