Activision has released a new version of Call of Duty. We are talking about the new game named Call of Duty: Strike Team which has been exclusively designed for iOS devices like iPhone and iPad. The new game is priced at $6.99 and can be availed from the iTunes App Store.
The Call of Duty: Strike Team game is not just about shooting opponents with first person shooting experience but it will also players to change between views which will allow players to see the conventional view of the soldier’s environment. The developer of the game has made efforts to offer the same kind of features that are available on other Call of Duty titles. So, when you play the game on your iDevice, you will get the same weapon choices that you get on the desktop version of the game.
The Call of Duty: Strike Team is set in 2020 era. The objective of the game is to pioneer the US Joint Special Operations Team when the country is going to face a war attack from an unfamiliar enemy. The game seamlessly switches between first person view and third person view and vice-versa.
Call of Duty: Strike Team has got two modes namely, single player campaign and the other one is survival mode that will let players to fight with online gamers. By the way, Call of Duty: Strike Team is not the first game from Activision that is aimed at mobile devices. In the past, Activision has released games like Call of Duty: Zombies and Call of Duty: Black Ops. However, the new game from Activision seems to be very promising compared to all its previous offerings.
Though Activision has released games like Pro Skater, Guitar Hero, Pitfall and so on, it has not been too keen about releasing games for mobile platforms. On the other side, Electronic Arts which is a rival game developer has developed quite a few games for smartphones and tablets.
